BT recruited kids that were in one word.....TOUGH. I will never forget seeing the look on Jay Blias's face when he saw ODU take the floor and run through a practice at NCAA First round in New Orleans. Then he said ...this team can play with anyone in the country. We are a long way from that with any one of JJ teams.

Except for a small token to keep my consecutive donations years going I will be out of ODAF. But if I thought for a fleeting moment that I was contributing to a Jones buyout then I would stay at my current level.

I could not agree more! Jones is not the problem, (well he should not be the focus of our anger) Wood Selig is the problem. WS is the head clown running the circus. The only coaching hire that he has made that seems to be a home run is Nikki McCray. Baseball...meh, Men's Basketball...not bad, but not great either. Field Hockey....swing and a miss. We should not be beating up the coaches, they are doing what they were hired to do, we should be calling for WS to step aside because he has done a crappy job.

It’s too early to call Nikki a home run. It is fair to say at this point that wood is a dud. Really hope he goes soon. My interest in my alma maters sports is dwindling by the day

I hate to say it, but I'm in the same boat. And I'm afraid that it's a rudderless boat as long as Woodrow is at the helm with his "Captain Jack Sparrow" compass pointing randomly in any direction.

We need new leadership.

Blaine's great basketball success coupled with the thrill of a new, exciting and winning football program had ODU on the rise for a while. It seems things have stalled for now. A couple seasons of being back in the NCAA tournament, a great new stadium and some more bowl victories would go a long way to bringing things back to life. Those things desperately need to happen ASAP. The question is are Wood, Bobby and Jeff the team to do that? Maybe, maybe not.

As it currently stands, JJ has a 5 year absence from the NCAA Tournament, no inside players, and one bona fide perimeter shooter.

His seat had better be heating up.

As I said before. Can we just dispense with the "one more season". Next season is a rebuilding year at this point. No point waiting around.

This appears more and more likely to be the case barring a recruiting miracle. We should probably just go ahead and stop the bleeding.

Two wins we better get next year in the Ted: vcu and b&mary. Jones will lose all support from me if we don’t win those games. I can’t take another year of not getting those Ws. And especially in our house.

That's a pretty thin limb the university's PR people have climbed onto. I think it's safe to assume that all of this will come to a head one way or the other after the coming season. Patience, haters, patience.
