Well damn. He looks like a pretty decent prospect at this point in the game, was hoping we could get him locked up quick.

Of course Stansbury strategically offers Bertain the night before he is set to visit UAB. It will be tough to beat out WKU for a recruit with their recent success, but I’m hopeful we do.

Bertain reminds me a bit of Marshall Henderson.

We could use the bigs from Bertain's team.

Wouldn't he be able to apply for a waiver due to the coaching change?

I've been told to not expect a waiver

We’ve already beaten them for one guy why not another? Maybe it will be tough for them to beat us out on another guy?

Which player are you referring to?

Guessing Boyce. Lovan also showing a WKU offer on his 247 page but, given his comments, I'm assuming it wasn't commitable.

Another observation, I know you guys aren't too high on beating out mid-majors for recruits, but Pearson's offer list is pretty solid. If Ehsan out-recruited Jans at NMSU for a prospect that's a big win.

I measure recruiting success on who we've gotten that actually took legit official visits to other places. That isn't to say there isn't something to finding diamonds in the rough.

Just have that last regular season game playing on the jumbotron when he takes the tour of Bartow Arena.
