Thought South was down because of their record, but I guess their schedule was really just that brutal.

We had a great midweek outing in non-conference and beat UTSA in 6 innings and beat UCF 7-1.

Will be interesting to see how we do against South.

I believe we were in the 40's after our win over Marshall. Dropping two straight to them and getting swept by Elon absolutely killed us.

Good win against Baylor. I hated losing to them 1-0 in Fullerton.

Yeah I believe the first one comes out on the 19th or 20th. This was given on the UCS Forum and it looks pretty legit. It was calculated using the below formula. I think it's pretty close, but the official one from the NCAA is out next week.

W% = Winning Percentage
OW% = Opponents' Winning Percentage not counting games including your team
OOW% = Opponents' Opponents' Winning Percentage not counting games including your team

RPI = (W% + (OW% x 2) + OOW%)

Top 25 RPI wins get .0026 bonus
Top 26-50 RPI wins get .0013 bonus
Bottom 25 RPI losses get .0026 penalty
Bottom 26-50 RPI losses get .0013 penalty

The Jags salvage game 3 against the Eagles, winning 8-0.

Randi Rupp just threw a perfect game.

I think the conference RPI will be at worst #6. UL, South, Texas State, and GS might all be top 50s, and several won't be far behind that.

They are used to this by now. I remember that we got a couple of them the first time we played this game, but by now they seem to have us figured out. We might need to try a new approach.

Perhaps trash talking that our softball team is better than App State's? Provide play by play for a game?
