Southern lost to Grambling 72-68 in the SWAC final; Southern was the #1 seed in the SWAC, so if the WNIT is like the men's NIT, Southern's season is not over. Southern is 17-13, finished 14-4 in the SWAC.

Western Kentucky defeated UAB 72-57 to win the Conference USA championship and get a bid to the NCAA tournament.

Louisiana Lafayette lost to Texas State 62-56 and finishes the year 17-16, 10-8 in the Sun Belt

Southern did get an automatic WNIT bid thanks to finishing 1st in the SWAC.

Buffalo is one 8 teams being considered for one of the last 4 slots in the NCAA tourney. Selections will be announced Monday night at 7 Eastern.

So far, UConn has scored 74 points against St. Francis, and there are still more than 4 minutes left in the 1st half.

Less than a minute left and it looks like the Chips are going to pull off the upset of LSU.
