That was a good result for your side. Basically you held margin there.

Great win for dems that are republicans. Lol

Saccone was Donald Trump before Donald Trump... at least that’s what he said.
All dems should be like lamb. They would win more often. Bwahahahaha

Not needed in states on the west coast and northeast, or elections in major cities. But maybe everywhere else.....

You guys are free to celebrate this as some sort of win. Go right ahead. And while I think Lamb eventually falls just short, he hasn't yet.

BTW, we're not likely to get a race called tonight. Westmoreland and Washington wont count their absentee ballots till tomorrow.

You should be hoping for a >0.5% victory (which isn't happening). Otherwise, the recount is going to expose the 3 million illegals that voted for lamb.

Sounds like Trumpian math. I'm not taking that as satire.

Allegheny County will count all absentees tonight. So we might have an answer tonight, but its unlikely.

And it will be counted by Russians

Turnout was good but not record-setting BTW. Murphy, running unopposed in 2016, got 293K votes in 2016. Tonight, we're at 215K votes with maybe 4K votes left to go? Not bad numbers for a special election, but this one had a lot of money and publicity so not record-shattering either.

I would guess that the Dems are getting Presidential level turnout and the GOP is getting midterm or worse level turnout. Which would be pretty consistent with what we've seen elsewhere. I think the best way to look at it would be to compare vote turnout in a random state race in 2014 (say some downballot race - like a judicial seat - these generally can be safely seen as a proxy for partisan turnout) and compare it to this election turnout. The problem is that you'd need to have the details on that race by CD. Someone will be doing that analysis, but we won't see it tonight.

There are a LOT of silent Trump voters out there.

There are a lot of people that do not care about USA's world standing or international reputation. Some of these people are trying to scrape by day-to-day in job markets that have been decimated.

2 Precincts remaining plus absentees remaining. Lamb up by only 90 votes. I think Saccone takes by maybe less than 150 votes when all is said and done.

There are 119 GOP held house seats that are bluer than Pa18. Good night spin room.

Yea in a district that Trump won by 20%, there just *might* be 200 votes left as a margin for him.

Can the dems find that many pro-gun, pro-life, anti-pelosi candidates though, that's the question.

If they're pro-growth, pro-tax cut, and pro-America, I'm for 'em.
