Nice win by Memphis. Tulsa gave the game away at the line with 16-29 FT shooting.

Memphis had 18 TO's and 21 PF's. Memphis big man, Mike Parks Jr. had a nice game with 7-10 shooting.

If Tulsa had hit their FT's, they would be moving on.

That is dreadful.

There have been years where the conference tournament seeding was almost a wash. This isn't one; I think the #1 seed in the AAC got a substantially easier path to the final. Temple will be physical and push WSU tonight. If the Shockers prevail, Houston will give them a tough game tomorrow. I like the way this is setting up.

Good. the Memphidiots will look even dumber when they go on probation after hiring Hardaway.

Why do you say they would go on probation?

Except for the fact its been a resume killer. Tier 3 wins aren't worth too much and the overall attendance looks dreadful.

I almost wish they would just let the one seed host the tournament or give the league tournament to Cincinnati or Wichita. Memphis if they ever get back to being Memphis would be a solid choice. The tournament is probably from an attendance and interest standpoint below the Mountain West, A-10, and maybe the WCC. Hopefully the evening games and Saturday change my perception.
