UNC Charlotte fired Mark Price in mid-December. That athletic department is quite the cluster... right now.

RE: 2017-18 coaching changes
Changes coming in fast and furious now...

It looks like Pitt will buy out and fire Kevin Stallings once they lose in the ACC Tournament.

Maine coach Bob Walsh quit and was replaced in the same day by Richard Barron, the former Maine women's basketball coach who had been on a leave of absence. Former UT assistant Bob Simon is on the Maine staff.

Former OU coach Tim O'Shea retired from Bryant.

Another former OU coach, Larry Hunter, resigned from Western Carolina.

A number of other low majors fired their head coaches: Marist, McNeese State, UC Riverside, Longwood, and Delaware State.

Buyout and termination looks to be on the horizon at Memphis for Tubby Smith. If this happens, the hot rumor is former Memphis star and successful high school and AAU coach Penny Hardaway will be the new coach.
