Tickets for Iowa game $50 - you must be a season ticket holder AND a HAF donor to buy tickets.

FSU tickets $35 You must be a season ticket holder to buy tickets.

BYU tickets $35 You must be a season ticket holder.

Jeez. I was hoping to go to Iowa game. These are really sh*tty conditions. Won't that limit attendance by NIU fans - especially those who live outside the area? What genius came up with that idea. 03-banghead

A bit of a slap in the face to out of state Huskie fans who might like to attend these games and sit with Huskie students and alums.

Yes exactly what I thought.
We have Huskies all over - MileHigh is out west that way ...he may have been planning to go to the BYU game. Now he & his family can't sit with other Huskie fans.

I just don't get their thinking with this....

Check with the Alumni Association. I bought tickets from the Alumni Association after they stopped accepting orders for the SDSU game last year through Athletic Department.

Good suggestion for others - thanks.

I'm not an alum & not a member of Alumni Assoc. plus they are permanently on my "naughty" list for their blatant refusal to help with the Diesel Memorial in any way whatsoever. They were total jerks to us.

Well sorry about your experiences with the Alumni Association. I am an alum but not a member of the Alumni Association. When I bought the tickets, I was able to do it through their promotion through Ticketmaster online and didn’t have to call them. This was also much closer to the game (like a couple months out) and not when tickets are initially offered through the ticket office.

I would think they definitely would have something for BYU given it’s a part of the country we haven’t played at ever / in a long time and An alumni gathering likely would be planned.

First of all I'm guessing that tickets are very limited. For away games, they should considering changing this to be either a season ticket holder or HAF member. I can see where fans living in Florida don't buy season tickets may but donate to HAF. They should have the opportunity to buy the tickets. If they need to go to the point system due to a shortage of tickets than do it.

Any leftover tickets should go to the Alumni Association or other area.

This is a great suggestion. It's nice to see a solution offered and not just complaining.

Well for one thing Dtownboys, I AM a season ticket holder & have been for something like 16 years now (lost count - I am getting old). I attend all Sat. home games & typically 1 home weeknight game. If all home games were on Sat. I would be at every one. I am getting older now & I don't know how much longer I can go to games. I would guess maybe 10 years possibly less, So I want to go to as many as I can.
Secondly, not everyone has a lot of extra $$$$ - me being one of them. While I am unable to donate money to HAF, I would like to go to away game that is within driving distance to see my Huskies play & sit with other Huskie fans - not in the middle of a bunch of Iowa fans. The stipulation that to buy tickets for BYU game or FSU game that you have to be a season ticket holder is ridiculous for people who live in FL or so far out of state. Come on. Suggesting they buy season tickets is kind of ridiculous.
Not everyone can afford to do that . If you can, that's great. But don't assume everyone can afford to do that - no matter how "cheap" you think season tickets may be. I actually have to save up to buy them so it's likely there are other fans who also have to save up for them.

It seems to me that having these conditions of being a season ticket holder excludes the fans who live out of state & wanted to see their team play and sit with other Huskie fans. I don't see a solution other than buying tickets on stubhub & sitting among the opposing teams fans. There probably is a shortage of Iowa tickets - those of us who wanted to go are disappointed. Surely you can understand that?

I feel for you, HFA. They should be taking care of dedicated, loyal fans like you. If I hadn't cancelled my season tickets this year, I would have bought the Iowa game tickets for you.

I thought the same thing.

You are great fan but stuff costs money. If you don't want the finer things in life save your dough and go to a local HS game and watch NIU on the ESPN app. I debate every year with my tix too.

I told him I didn't think it was a good deal. He may only make one of the weeknight games, but is not sure. So if you look at the $700 per pass cost for 3 games (or even 4), that's a heck of a lot of money.

I like the easily accessible bathroom and spot to evade the cold for a bit, but if I had to pony up an additional $700 per ticket I wouldn't go near it and I've had passes since it opened.

Literally the dumbest idea I've ever heard. With a limited fan base as it is, why handicap sales more! Power house fan bases can pull stuff like that. Not NIU.

Frazier probably has interns running his dept. Like Carey and special teams coordinator position.

jesus christ people if the allotment isn't sold out by the people who are buying ST and HAF donors, they will be available to the GP. They aren't limiting NIU attendance. If they have 2000 tickets, they will sell 2000 tickets regardless of ST/HAF status. They are just letting those who have the greatest impact have first shot.

The season ticket renewal deadline is April 28th. They probably will sell to the general public shortly after that. Patience ...

With a one and one, we don’t get a nickel for playing at Kentucky and only get to keep the revenue generated for a home game. Sorry to say, we need the cash for the one and done and can’t afford the one and one. The one and done also let’s us schedule another big P5 pay day on the road. 5 home games per year (1 FCS, 4 conference) looks to be the norm going forward.

wait. coaches club is an additional 700 per ticket? that cant be right? i thought it was 700 donation level plus cost of seats? can anyone confirm? attendance last 2 years has been miserable so why are there not added perks for the 500 that showup. if i am a middle class donor why arent they trying to capture another 100 for me? so weird
