RE: Jared Gentry Kicked Off Team
Whether or not he was going to distribute, or what the amount was, or if it's a big deal, or if it should be legal isn't important. All that matters is that our coach who I trust, is running a tight ship. Maybe he has no tolerance for this type of thing. Maybe he thinks that not being tough on Gentry would promote the culture that you can get away with stuff like this and play football at Memphis, and he wants to avoid this at all costs.
Tony Bennett kicked AN off of the team at Virginia for much less; which pretty much wrecked any chance they had of a deep NCAA run after the season had barely started.

Sorry, not just according to me.. I have had close friends and family that started out with weed and the fix wasn’t good enough and moved on up to harder drugs and are now deceased.. Heroine was the killer of 2 of my family members, so yea I despise drugs!!

Lol. How do you explain the fall in opioid usage in states that have legalized? Or the reduction in alcohol related driving offenses and fatalities? Also, alcohol is obviously the biggest gate way drug of all. Do you think it should be illegal?
I live in a legal state, for the record. The tax dollars are great, you don't have to buy from sketchy guy that lives in his mom's basement, and most importantly, I don't have to worry about a cop wasting his time arresting me for an ounce of a plant lol.

I already know dat, dude. We fought having one plunked down here when they tried to railroad a prison in behind closed doors.
Prisons bring in the worst crime imaginable to an area, put a huge strain on the sewage facilities, light the countryside day and night....basically they ruin the economy and don't employ locals either because....
Prison guards transfer from other horrid prisons like Pelican Bay where there is no sun.

To add some context to the debate, Memphis and Nashville attempted to lessen the penalty for possessing a 1/2 ounce or less to a fine or community service, but the state legislature and Gov. Haslam repealed the measures last April: https://www.tennessean.com/story/news/20...100416186/
"Nashville and Memphis received great fanfare last fall from criminal justice advocates for passing local ordinances that gave police the power to reduce penalties for possession of small amounts of marijuana.
But now it's over after just seven months.
Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam on Wednesday signed into law Republican-backed legislation to repeal separate Nashville and Memphis laws that had allowed partial marijuana decriminalization in those communities . . ."

And Joseph Geobbels was able to sell Hitler as a good guy. The legalization movement has been able to mislead the masses with misinformation. In many ways pot is far more dangerous than most other drugs including alcohol.
You can go out Friday and Saturday night and get plastered on alcohol and come Monday it is out of your system and there are no problems.
Do the same thing with pot and a month later you can be exercising or doing anything that burns fat cells and the THC (which is stored in fat cells) from that weekend can re-enter your blood stream. Causing you to be under the influence again.
That guy working next to you or driving in the car next to you who toked it up all weekend could return to a condition of intoxication weeks after usage..
Dude...

It takes a real position of ignorance to believe that future exercise can cause you to get stoned without smoking that day.

Selling weed WHO CARES
The law cares and apparently, the coaches care about not having a bunch of pot heads on the football team. So, I guess you think that selling weed and failing to pass a drug test is just super smart for a college athlete? Seems you may have a short memory about ANDRE ALLEN and our Final Four appearance in 2008.

I said nothing about Norvell's decision. His team, his rules.
Gentry could be f*cked forever with this ridiculous felony charge.
But you just seem to only care about the team.

I didn't read the post that lead to his response. From past history it wouldn't surprise me if racecar guy is 100% wrong. The only thing that was important to me is that he equated being misinformed with being a Trump voter; which is the typical snowflake's idiotic M.O.

It's all such a moot point until you see the different addicts for yourself--from scrips to street drugs to over the counter meds. From alcohol to nicotine and sometimes all of the above.
Retail is a great space to watch the parade.
Once again..the scariest humans, i.e. the ones most likely to do harm to you or others, are the Methheads. People who overuse weed are the least likely to harm anyone.
Tweekers and jibbers are the ones that make me wanna get a gun.
