When I go on vacation, I enjoy the journey as much as the destination. Same as basketball, and while the ultimate goal is to get into the big dance and there have been a few bumps along the way, it's been one helluva journey this season!

Well said. It has been a fun ride this season ( a few exceptions) for those of us that traveled and watched our Monarchs.

How would you enjoy your vacation if you never actually reached your destination?

I would enjoy my vacation while the journey was going underway. If, at the end, I didn't reach my destination, then I would be disappointed. But I wouldn't ruin the vacation worrying all the time about the final destination.

Got it. Do if you were headed to a beautiful spot in the D.R. and never found your way out of Haiti, you wouldn't mind.

Are you also impressed by watching a delicious, Michelin-chef inspired meal being made and then at the end having it all mushed up together and served to you in a dog bowl without utensils? Because that's what odu basketball is right now.

For all you Game of Thrones fans...
ODU Basketball is like Grey Worm.

Looks good in battles, but cannot finish when it counts...

Man, some of you sound like my kids on vacation, "ARE WE THERE YET? ARE WE THERE YET? ARE WE THERE YET?"

Three more games and we'll know whether we made it to our final destination, or just got to experience some pretty cool stuff along the way.

+1 I love your outlook and share your perspective. It won’t take long for you to identify the antagonists on this site. The glass is always half empty for some folks.

I assume I am one of the people you are referring to, and it just is not true. Read through my posts about football before you write my opinions off as those of someone whose glass is always half empty.

Not sure what you’re referring to - but interesting that you responded. Any other fish want to bite?

I dont think you could set the hook even if the fish did bite. Keep at it though gramps. Didnt stop the dynamic duo of the The GRUMPY OLD MEN.
