Lololol.

What? 27 weeks and 5 shows a day about pyramids and scratchings in the tundra don’t work for you? Haha

I’ll add Polar bear country, or whatever that’s called.

Yea, we get it. Take your pics, let bears be bears, don’t get hurt.

Non-political: people at the gym who pretend to be experts on everything, while being fundamentally wrong. There's a guy at my gym always spouting off about how working any muscle group will stimulate muscle growth everywhere on your body.

Here in El Paso they do that and I can't understand why. Everyone and the dog catcher run as Demons. Useless to add the D.

portmanteaus. my wife said staycation. i shuddered. it's lame but far better than adding man to anything feminine related. man bag, man bun, et al. which necessarily isn't a portmanteau, but it's also stupid

don't get me wrong, i make up my own portmanteaus all the time and tell people with enthusiasm. but i've been checking myself recently

Maybe I just put some cladding over the wheels and claim it's a fancy she-shed for my mother-in-law to drink tea or something...

Right up there with Animal Planet's "Finding Bigfoot". They should at least change the name to "Not Finding Bigfoot".

NO POLITICS!

What grinds your gears? What happened today that really pissed you off? Got a story to tell? Let's have an open thread with NO POLITICS where you can get something off your chest.

NO POLITICS!

What grinds your gears?

Wow. Where to start......

1) Cell phone people. Driving and yammering on the phone not paying attention, more dangerous than drunk drivers IMO.

2) Cell phone people II. People standing in a line (store, theater, etc) yapping away and can't be bothered to hang up or STFU when it's their turn in line.

3) People who are sitting at a red light, it turns green, and continue to wait for an invitation to go.

4) People who, the minute there's a snowflake or raindrop in the air, immediately slow down to 10 mph under the speed limit holding up traffic.

5) Harley guys who want to show how fricking "cool" they are by revving the crap out of their "hogs" to let everyone know they're bad-ass Harley guys with loud pipes. Especially D-bagish when done in the wee hours of the morning.

6) People who sit in a movie and talk during the whole damn thing.

7) People who in that same movie, don't respect personal space. There's 150 empty seats, yet they feel the need to sit directly in front, next to, or behind you. Give it a few seats for Christ's sake.

8) Wallet people. Wait in line to pay or order then, rather than have cash or card ready while waiting, get their total and have to dig thru their wallet to find the means to pay. A little forethought maybe?

9) On the same token, check people. Usually older people who buy something at a grocery store then, like wallet people, take out a check and start to fill it out. Then comes the process of scanning the check and getting "approval". Every hear of a debit card?

I'm sure I'll think of more.....

Holy schit!

#8- related. Change people.

Let me stand here and dig into my saddlebag purse to see if I’ve got that 11 cents to make that change 3 quarters instead of xxx.

I wanna pay their tab for them, then give em a rabbit punch on the way out.

But, how on earth could I have missed this one—-

Bi-cyclists. On winding, curvy, hilly roads with NO shoulders, no sidewalk, no bike lane, double yellow and limited visibility to pass the fockers.

Complete with their little round mirror specs so they can SEE the jam up they’re creating.

Please, go die. Take up smoking. Order a pizza and get some beer, get fat.

Do ANYTHING other than THAT!!!

Count me in on that one. MANY times I've just wanted to throw a $1 on the counter, pay for it, and tell them to F-Off.

Brilliant! Forgot about the Spandex Militia.
Act like they own the road then get all pissy when people who's vehicles ACTUALLY pay a fee to use the roads want to get on with their day. Makes me want to hang back, get a running start, hug the line when passing and cut them off.

Adding an extra "u" to a word. For example, savior. When did it become acceptable to use saviour?

Y'all gave me a chuckle about the bicyclists.

My old Captain said he was going to figure out a way to mount a cattle prod with a remote trigger on the passenger side front bumper of his car for jackwad bicyclists. 03-lmfao

We have to wear ID badges at work and somehow the physics of the badge, the holder and the laynard mean that 95% of the time the picture of the person is against their body, and the badge is only showing the blank back.

we were driving up the swiss/france mountainside in search of a restaurant with a view and this 70 year old man was propelling himself up the windy roads in one of those three wheeled sit down jobs. you couldn't pass him because you couldn't see around the many bends. i'm pretty sure i gave that man a thumbs up

but yeah, i don't know how the cyclists can trust how the other drivers will behave/react. i've got a ton of cycling friends (literally) and they seem to understand the inherent risks but do point out they are adamant about their right to the road. it's just so unsafe

I'll add fricking Hipsters to that.

Skinny jeans, beards, sleeve tats, craft beer, and whatever else happens to be trendy at the time.

They think they're all "counter culture" and edgy but too stupid to realize that by doing the same thing as THE REST OF THEIR FELLOW ENLIGHTENED PEOPLE, they're nothing more than a stereotype of themselves.....
