We couldn't get a stop to save our life or a defensive rebound with him in game. He actually looked better for us on O than he does he D. He at least be in position to get offensive rebounds, set solid screens and he makes his layups, other than that he shouldnt be playing down stretch in big time games.
He helped shut down their point guard in my view which kept UC in the game.
Yeah, his perimeter D was excellent. He's was on the perimeter defensively a lot which is why he wasn't getting defensive rebounds - a product of the scheme, not his play. He did draw two fouls on the offensive end going for the rebound. Those don't count as offensive rebounds in the stats book, but they accomplish the same thing.
2nd half came in around under 12min mark
he drew a foul on offensive rebound at 1105
was called for illegal screen at 913(still no opportunity to defend perimeter at all)
He's been lost on EVERY possesion so far
was in no mans land with shamet driving, he dished to corner for open 3 at855
got matched up with shamet on switch, he passed right away to morris, Nso stayed in NO MAN LAND(LOST), we gave up rebound at755
matched up with shamet, played PERFECT D and forced a TO at 745
got matched up with #12, came played bad help d and gave up open corner 3 at644
he drew a foul on offense rebound at 636
in no man land once again, gives up old school 3pt play at 624
kelly tried take him off dribble, once again perfect stance on d, forced mid court 3, he comes back and gives up offensive rebound at533
had good close out on baseline shot by morris at430
Im stop right here because after last play he's played close to 8min straight and clearly see he's gassed right now. Im say he held his own out on perimeter on D, he's lost as EVER trying figure everything else out though on D. Not knowing where to be caused a lot of confusing and we gave up second chance points.
Im also on record in game thread noticing that WSU was getting tired up at that point. NOBODY got beat off dribble between when he came into game and left game.
