Much more important than being a catalyst for trolling and loling would be the indication that we are mentally healthier and getting closer to last year's team's capability.

I have no idea how good Cincy really is. My gut feeling is that they are nowhere near as good as their record/ranking would indicate. When they were tested earlier in the season they folded like a lawn chair. They've been pushed to their limits against some fairly weak AAC teams albeit they did prevail in the end and sometimes decidedly so.

I know one thing's for certain; if we sweep them I won't be surprised. I probably won't be surprised if we get swept either. We've displayed too much Jekyll and Hyde syndrome and this league can go from somewhat competent to totally terrible in the blink of an eye. It's hard to gauge whether or not you are playing well or just t-bagged a horrible team.

I have no idea how bad UConn is. Did we smash a decent team last night or a horrible one?

We beat UConn by 10 on the road yet UC squeaks by with an 8 pt. advantage.
We beat Houston by 75 at home yet UC only beats them by 10 (in a game where they had to dig out of an 18 pt. deficit).
We beat ECU by 95 on the road yet UC beats them by 26 at home (in a game that was closer than the score would indicate).
We beat Memphis by 20 on the road yet UC beats them by only 14 (in a game that really wasn't decided until the 4th quarter).
We beat USF by 300 at home and UC beats them by 23 on the road (in a game that was neck-and-neck for the first 30 mins.).

It's hard to get a good feel, that's why the Cincy - Wichita matchup can't get here soon enough.

There is one inarguable point and that is Wichita and Cincinnati are the two best teams in the league. Let's settle this discussion already.

...03-cool
"inarguable point"? . Lol. Wichita is tied for SECOND with Houston. Cincy is best team in the league. Just as the coaches predicted at seasons' start.

Yes, UH has beaten UC twice in 32 tries. So, yes, miracles occasionally happen.

Houston is now just returning from its long ugly vacation... Keeping Sampson longer here however should be a priority or go after someone better who can add what Sampson has revived here.

Now if we do any of said two I mentioned above I like to say our chances defeating you cats shouldn't be a problem anymore.

Funny how UH's "long ugly vacation" has lasted four decades! Kudos, however, for beating that former Missouri Valley "national power"!

UH Conference title hopes?!? LOL! Talk about going over the deep end. Just the first step...of UH beating Cincy...is about as common as Halley’s Comet. You’d have better chances with the Lotto than a conference title.

its 2.5 decades not 4...we were a decent team in the early 90's

and coincidently our vacation started exactly when the swc crash happened..probably all coincidence..we back baby....

Some of our fans seem to forget UH beat us a few years ago and just gave us a good game at home.

This is a good Houston team and they appear to play much tougher at "home" than they have in recent memory. I will be very happy if we get out of there with a win, but I will not be surprised if we lose.

both are houston kids...caldwell was never into houston, but chandler flirted really hard with us the first time around

both are 4star...we are out of schollys for next year..but if they dont mind going to a hcc for a semester like the umass boys im sure sampson will make room for them if they desperately wanted to come

Game on Thursday should be great. All 100 fans there will give Houston a great advantage though.

That must have been the night you ate shrooms and saw a panda in the men's room. It was Mike Pence.

um cincy was blowing us out most of the game they just took their foot of the gas late. our game against you at xl was a closer game. Also cincy played at gampel which is a lot tougher to play at then the XL center. so I'm opinion I would give the advantage to cincy.

Bet it’s a sellout, I have all sorts of casual college basketball fans asking about tickets for that game.

I'm kinda hoping it's barely half full, and the Coogs still beat Cindy, and then all the cindykat fans here go off on the UH attendance, and then the shocktop fans pile on the cindykats rubbing it all in.

UCF beats Memphis for the 4th time in a row and now the vultures are circling in Memphis.

Scathing article in Memphis paper that noted a pregame fight between 2 players and how a former Memphis Great that was inducted into their Wall of Fame (Anderson) at halftime, when asked if Tubby Smith was the right man for the job, he said No....and Tubby Smith basically agreed with him in post-game comments.

It sounds like Tubby wants to be fired and if he is, Memphis will owe him $9.75 Million ($3.25 Million for next 3 years).
