That interview with Fran Dunphy was painful to watch; Mr. Personality he isn't.

That’s the book on them. Not big, not athletic and live and die behind the 3pt line. Not going to build a program in this conference on that style. It’s doesn't have much shelf life and doesn’t travel consistently enough.

They actually almost got away with it. It was an even game until the final 120 seconds.

To shoot 3-17 from downtown and not be destroyed does tell me some positive things about the team.

I think Reynolds is actually not that great of an offensive leader. He takes A LOT OF SHOTS, and misses a good deal of them.

Tulane is athletic - just they are very fast and very small. It's like playing a good mid-major team. They sort of get how basketball really works, but they will bully no one.

You realize they had 42 paint points? Your scouting report isn't good.

Like the ivies or Stanford or Duke, our student body is pretty evenly distributed nationally. We get a lot from Northeast, Cali, Chicago, Ohio, Texas, Florida, DC, etc.

And lost and didn’t cover the apread at home to Temple....who cares what they scored inside. They don’t win if they don’t score in bunches from outside. Not even to USF.

More surprisingly, tied without our best player (Frazier) playing.

Ona Embo playing great. He has the offense looking good, Temple hasn’t had much of an answer for his energy.

Why is he not playing?

Hurt on a (not called) illegal screen in first few minutes. Hard to tell how serious it is. Has a shoulder sling on, which could just be precautionary.

lol it was completely clean.

There are a LOT of northeastern Tulane students.

My graduating class in suburban Philly had like 7 at Tulane.

Good for Temple. Tulsa is going to need another quality win in a magical run to the NCAAs

At this rate we'll have as many as (5) teams in the NIT, possibly.

Temple
Tulsa
Tulane
UCF
Memphis/SMU

Really? So if you only score inside or you only score outside you will probably lose? What a keen observation.

A four and four split is more likely.

Powerful win today Temple! I didn't watch the game but was wondering if Temple Nation could chime in on how it felt to play Tulane today. Pretty similar to WSU the other night right? The results were obviously very similar.

RE: 2/4 AAC Basketball Games
temple can make the tourney at 19-11 at worst in the regular season

meaning temple can only take 1 more lose before we start worrying about the NIT seed

its not imposible
vs ecu
@ usf
@wichita
vs houston
vs ucf
@uconn
@tulsa

if temple wins the games it should that is probably only 2 losses. meaning theyd just need to upset houston or Wichita

but temple losses to teams it shouldn't a lot..none of the last 3 are gimmies ..im not sure i see temple doing it

Kelvin Sampson would like to have a word with you.

I thought we played pretty well. We just didn't have our best player. Hopefully he's ready next game.

And BTW, Tulane is not a small team. We just don't have much in the low-post. The guards and wings are big.

I believe 5 and 2 regular season finish and 2 AAC tournament wins will get them there. Their resume is still strong with a #2 SOS so far and 3 and 3 in top 25 currently ranked teams with 1 to play. That said, 5 and 2 is no gimmie. They should win their next 2 leaving a 3 and 2 finish needed.

The next two games are gimmes for temple. At 15-10...with the wins they have...the tourney talk will start in earnest. 17 wins gets them in. But they’ll beat that.

I don't think they'd get in at 17-14.

I say 19 is the absolute minimum number of wins they need.
