They still have 2 games against the rugged Bearcats as well.

WSU, a very good team, will not win with sheer athleticism. If they have an off-night, then they are beatable by AAC caliber teams.

The rest of our schedule isn't world beaters and I think its obvious now.
We have played with everyone in our league and if you look at other games results you can see they are all beatable.
I think we've done great so far and have the chance to keep it up.

If Temple wasn’t such a Jekyll and Hyde team, they would be a sure fire NCAA team.

That’s an excuse that some folks use for whatever reason. SMU weren’t world beaters before they beat Wichita State. They had lost to Temple and Tulane before beating Wichita State. Those were 2 teams that we beat and are deemed as terrible. SMU had already lost to those teams with a healthy roster.

Outside of the conventional wisdom that Wichita State was going to be a good team they really haven't done a lot resume wise to show that they are.

Wonder what Wichita's record would be if they were still in the MVC?

The WSU fans must feel like we felt when we left CUSA. Wonder if Marshall is second guessing not taking a better job.

Injuries as an excuse? Injuries are not an excuse, a key injury can decimate a team, lets see how UCF does from here on out. Temple a bad team? They have beaten Auburn, Clemson, WSU, South Carolina, SMU.

The more I read the more it makes me wonder. We are a bad team, not Temple, not WSU.

For SMU IMO it is. They weren’t world beaters before the injuries losing to the likes of Tulane and Temple. They might have been in the NIT pre-injuries and might miss the post season now. Injuries are being used as an excuse for their recent loss. They were 2-2 before injuries and are 2-2 after injuries.

As for Temple I think they are a good team. But they have been deemed terrible by many folks to discount our win against hem.

Temple is still 4-6 in the AAC, good for 9th place. They lost by 30+ to Cinci last week.

Maybe, like I noted above, WSU isn't the bees knees like most folks (including me) anticipated.

Agree. The win doesn't prove that Temple is good as much as it proves the AAC is littered with mediocre teams, including Memphis.
