Folsom Field (Long time ago...before many renovations. Used to have great views out of the West/Home Stands...)
Notre Dame Stadium (Great place to see a game!)
Kinnick Stadium (I was there before permanent lights...It's a classic that's often forgotten in the B10...)
Jack Trice Stadium (The coldest place I have ever been; It was the last game of the season, wind whipping through the cold, concrete stands...it was miserable.)
Nippert Stadium (Another great place to see a game!)
Paul Brown Stadium (Cincinnati/OSU...I had great seats for this one...)
Ohio Stadium (Eh... Every time I have been there I have been miles from the field and it's a pain to get into and out of...)
Peden Stadium ( On the banks of the Hocking... Very pretty in the fall! Not much crowd, though.)
Joan C. Edwards Stadium (Meh... I have sat in various places here and am ambivalent.)
Mountaineer Field (Not a bad stadium, but the fans can be a real handful... Only stadium I have been vomited on.)

Would like to go to...
-Navy-Marine Corps. Memorial Stadium
-Michie Stadium

That is a weird list. No Southwest, CUSA, or AAC schools?

I never really went to many college football games. I always went to more high school games, especially because I used to cover it as a writer. I never even went to a game at old Robertson Stadium.

RE: Which stadiums have you been to for CFB games? Where would you like to go?
I have been to a few in my area:

For me:
Home games:
Papa Johns Cardinal Stadium (Louisville)
Maryland Stadium (college Park, MD)
Johnny U Stadium (Towson, MD)
LT Smith Stadium WKU (Bowling Green, KY)

As Visiting team:
Nippert Stadium (Cincy)
Liberty bowl (Memphis)
Mountianeer Field (Morgantown, WV)
Joan C Edwards Stadium, Marshall (Huntington, WV)
Lincoln Financial Field Temple (Phila)

Commonwealth Stadium (Lexington, KY)
Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium (Annapolis, MD)
Memorial Stadium (Clemson, SC)
MM Roberts Stadium - Southern Miss (Hattiesburg, MS)
Scott Stadium -UVA (Charlottesville, VA)
Note Dame Stadium

Bowl games/Neutral Site games
M&T Bank Stadium (Army vs. Navy)
Paul Brown Stadium, Cincy
Lincoln Financial Field (Army v Navy)
Liberty Bowl
Superdome
Georgia Dome
Sunlife Stadium, Miami (before recent renovations)
Bank of America Stadium (Charlotte)
LP Field (Nashville)
Silverdome (Detroit)
Lucas Oil Stadium vs. Purdue opening game(Indy)
Fed Ex Field, Washington DC
Tropicana Field - Beed OBrady;s Bowl (st. Pete, FL)

Non college (not already listed):

Foxboro Stadium
Heinz Field
Texas Stadium (Irving)

Soldier Field
Lambeau Field
Ford Field (Detroit)
Raymond James Stadium (Tampa)
Arrowhead Stadium (KC)
Edward Jones Dome (STL)
Univ Phx Stadium (Glendale)
Centruy Link Field (Seattle)

My favorite was Memorial Stadium in Clemson in terms of atmosphere. Century Link was the best in terms of site lines and amenities (some of the above have been renovated since I went). Bryant-Denny is the one I'd like to go to.

The coolest stadium I have every been to is Washington's.

The rest are all pretty much the same thing with a few variations outside.

Would like to go to:

Baylor's new stadium on the river
Georgia State-to see how they have reworked the Braves old stadium

Have seen college football game(s) at:
Rose Bowl
Texas
Astrodome
Reliant Stadium
Rice
Cotton Bowl
Superdome
old Georgia Dome (now demolished)
Mercedes Benz
Georgia Tech
Georgia
Tennessee
Old Gator Bowl

RE: Which stadiums have you been to for CFB games? Where would you like to go?
This thread reminds me of a road trip we took from Houston to Sante Fe. We basically did a tour of the Southwest Conference. We drive by Rice University on the way out of town, rode around the UT campus in Austin before spending the night. Then we drove to Lubbock and rode around that campus where they were having a CWS regional. Then on to Sante Fe and Albuquerque where rode around the UNM campus. On the way back we went through Ft. Worth and drove by TCU, Waco and drove by Baylor, College Station and drove by A&M. Hit New Mexico and 6 of the 8 final SWC members. SMU we missed by 30 miles and UH we had ridden by the week before (only about 5 miles from us as the crow flies).

Not in college football. The NFL is more like that but college football is as close to baseball in varation as you're gonna get. Then again, you're an SEC fan, so no wonder you feel that way.

RE: Which stadiums have you been to for CFB games? Where would you like to go?
Off the top of my head, stadiums I've been to games in the FBS:

Wake Forest (vs. BC, vs. Utah State)
Duke (vs. UVA, vs. Baylor)
Appalachian State (vs. Liberty)
Clemson (vs. BC)
Georgia Tech (vs. UVA)
Georgia State??? (I guess if you count going to a Braves game? Otherwise, no.)
Florida State (too many times to count, my alma mater and hometown team)
FAU (for 4 Florida vs. the nation high school games, never for an FAU game)
FIU (vs. Louisiana Tech)
Miami (vs. FSU)
Troy (vs. Texas State, vs. Navy, and 1-2 other games I can't recall at this time)
Oklahoma State (vs. Texas)
BYU (vs. FSU)

Bowl Games / Neutral Site Games:
FSU vs. Colorado (Jacksonville)
Notre Dame vs. Navy (Jacksonville)
ACC Championship Game: FSU vs. GT (Charlotte)
Gator Bowl: FSU vs. WVU
Gator Bowl: UVA vs. Texas Tech
Champs Sports Bowl: Maryland vs. Purdue
Champs Sports Bowl: Boston College vs. Michigan State
Orange Bowl: Louisville vs. Wake Forest
Peach Bowl: FSU vs. South Carolina

FCS:
Samford (vs. App State when FCS, vs. Murray State)

D2:
Valdosta State (about once a year for the past 10yrs, plus several high school games)
West Florida? (Only if you count a minor league baseball game.)

Never been to a D3 or NAIA game.

I've also walked inside many, many, many more stadiums and taken pictures but never been to a game. Too many to list. Everywhere from SMU to TCU to Southern Miss to New Mexico to Weber State to Vanderbilt; on and on.

**************
Places I'd love to see a game:
The rest of the ACC stadiums I haven't been to yet.
Army
Michigan
Ohio State
Alabama
Auburn
Texas
Oklahoma
Georgia State
Georgia Southern
Liberty
Tulane
UNC Charlotte
UCLA
USC
Hawaii
Jacksonville State
Montana
North Dakota State
JMU
Grand Valley State
Plus several others I can't think of off the top of my head.

****
Some random notes from my experiences:
- My experience at Clemson was awesome. Probably my favorite place I've been to so far. When I went I had a very negative view of Clemson fans, after my time there I totally changed my opinion and now I respect them quite a bit. I had a wonderful time, everyone was very friendly, and it was a great game-day experience.

- Similarly had a very good time at GT. Not quite the atmosphere as Clemson, but I actually really, really liked the view from Bobby Dodd Stadium. You feel like you're literally on the field, it's so compact. Plus the view of the Atlanta skyline all around is very neat. Combine that with the Varsity within walking distance and the GT hall of fame which is open for visitors, it's a fun experience.

- App State and BYU are by far the most scenic venues I've been to. BYU is probably unrivaled by any FBS school in the country. What an amazing view. People there were very nice as well, although the crowd was a little subdued. App State's Kidd Brewer Stadium is really a great place to see a game, nestled in the Appalachian mountains. I got to watch the game there in a box which was neat.

- Duke's Wallace Wade changed a lot between the two times I went. It's a historic stadium. Home to the only Rose Bowl game outside the Rose Bowl. It looks even nicer with the addition of all the boxes, but it does feel just a little less "classic" to me now.

- Wake Forest was fun both times I went. Nothing really much to say other than I think it's where my wife and I went to our first college football game together.

- Troy is one of my selfish favorites. They play some interesting teams at home and tickets are cheap. It's a really nice venue and the crowds are pretty good. I really like Troy's band and I always enjoy going there.

- FIU was awesome because I could spread out so much. It was homecoming and there was practically no one at the game. About 1,000, maybe less by halftime of a competitive game. I don't say that out of hate, hopefully it's gotten better. My mother was in the second graduating class there and my mother-in-law works for the dean. It's a small place, but close to the field and all the seats are comfortable.

- I have a biased view of Miami because my experience there wasn't the typical one. My grandfather-in-law is an Iron Arrow with them and has a box, so when he took me to the FSU-UM game back in 2014 I got to get my picture with Sebastian at the booster tailgate and watch the game from his box. It was an awesome time and one of the best games of the series in recent years.

- Oklahoma State was a lot of fun, although I wish there were a few more pregame traditions. I'm really into experiencing a school's traditions and really enjoying it all, and I felt like there wasn't a whole lot. At least not that I could readily find out about in my own research.

I would say Bobby Dodd is my least favorite. Its an old stadium that reminds me of the Reds old Crosley Field. You have restricted sightlines in the lower deck due to the supports.

Rice is my favorite. There isn't a bad seat in the house (if you ignore the splinters on some of the bleachers-but they've replaced almost all of those by now).

It's just too bad a team worth anything doesn't play there. Rice hasn't been good since the stadium was more or less brand new.

Just one more reason Rice should actually get serious about athletics or quit. They have all the tools.

Wisconsin - about 15 times
Minnesota
SMU - x2
North Texas (old stadium)
Notre Dame - x2
Arizona - x4
UTEP (for Sun Bowl, Notre Dame vs. Miami)

Rice - x2
Iowa State - x12
Iowa
Wyoming
Colorado State (old stadium)
Alamo Dome (Notre Dame vs. Army)
Lincoln Financial (Army vs. Navy)

I was also at those two bolded games. Too bad we couldn't have met up and tailgated together....I really enjoyed the Sun Bowl in 2010.

Which two games did you see at ND Stadium?

Notre Dame vs. Pitt in 2004 & Notre Dame vs. North Carolina in 2014...2014 my brother was at Moreau Seminary, that weekend was the full ND experience.

You don't need to see a game at the LA Coliseum, unless you just want to check it off your list. But you do want to see a game at the Rose Bowl.
