Here's the big difference between now and then! If it were Blaine Taylor asking for the Scope to be full, it would be! JJ asking for The Ted to be packed is a joke! JJ doesn't have the fan support BT had and never will.

Maybe we could get JJ to grow a big mustache so the students could wear fake ones.

One of the great disappointments of the Jeff Jones era so far has been the lack of fan engagement in-jokes. BT's mustache was iconic and made for easy fan engagement, especially among the students. Jeff Jones lacks that appearance x-factor. I'd say maybe we could get students to wear suits to games and cross their arms, but I doubt many college students own suits or wear them much at all.

Since when have a bunch of college students come to a game because a coach made a plea for them to show up? At the end of the day, the kids are fans or they are not. I don't care if Bugs Bunny is coaching my team. I am showing up if I can get there. Not showing up because Jones doesn't fire them up is a lame excuse.

The real challenge here is for our Monarch to stop a team with 6 players in double figure scoring. We will have to play some hellacious defense.

Let’s bring the mother scratchin’ heat! Stand up! Make some noise! Piss off those around you who steadfastly remain quiet! I guarantee the team will appreciate. Also, unleash Dustin to get the crowd up!!!

I don't know if the students will show up or not. I also don't know if the 8 pm starting time will mean less fans or not. What I do know is this game is by far the best game of the year at this point. Therefore I hope to see a large turnout. I will be there to see what I hope is a great game. Who will win...I have no idea...I hope we do...a large turnout will help..hopefully..Go Monarchs!!!!!

ESPECIALLY hate to see empty seats in the middle sections. Maybe for these big games they need to close the VIP lounge during the game and make those VIP donors who stay up there come on down to their high visibility seats!!

The VIP lounge is the one you see in the end zone on the north end. It's open so you can watch the game. Actually the seating up there is a great view. We go up when it opens an hour and a half before the game and watch the warmups from there ( while enjoying a beverage). But we are in our seat before the game starts. The lounge is a VIP thing and you need to have a certain ticket to get up there. Similar to the one at the football games.

Everyone who has watched more than a few minutes of us the past 2 years knows that. Bilas clearly hasn't.
