And this is our only Texas road trip, at least until the tournament. Let's hold serve at home and this could be a special season.

And with a heavy dose of Trey Porter down low. He also contributed big at the foul line as well.

Trey was the man 23pts in the post and went 9 for 11 FTs and 11 rebounds. Drop mic.

Have to wonder if Trey's big game happening when Brandan was limited was just a coincidence.

I know where you are going and I agree. At least he has been playing though. The fact that he rode the bench all last season with Brandon and Denzel laying goose eggs all year is unconscionable

I don't know how you can say that. Brandon and Carver are almost clones with their two games and one or the other is usually in the game with Porter. I believe Brandon takes some pressure off Porter by being alongside him. Brandon may have struggled some lately but he is still playing hard and is a very tough rebounder.

Really no clue how we won that game. Showed some growth to be able to win with BJ and Caver shooting like 5-25. Porter was huge and X quietly gave us good minutes.

Not sure about the clone statement. Brandon provides at least some offense, Carver much less. Got stuffed by the rim on a dunk for crying out loud. Brandon helps a lot on the defensive end with his shot blocking threat but on the offensive end it seems clogged in the lane. When Carver is in there it seems like Trey has more room to work because he spreads it out a little more. I like the sets where it's just Trey down low.

This makes logical sense but the offense is still much better with Brandan next to Porter even with the lack of spacing. I wonder if a lot of that is putbacks.

MH has lost his revounding prowess. Alvis has taken over
