IMO before ruling it out, we should perform due diligence to determine if it is a feasible option. In fact, all creative ways to make Tubby uncomfortable should be investigated for legality and cost/benefit.

Tubby has quit in the past (e.g., KY) rather than face contentious opposition. I surmise he is open to a settlement given his age and wealth.

He didnt quit he lined up the Minnesota job.

Nobody's giving him north of a million/year for what they've seen here.

Nobody ever should've given him >2 million/year based on his TT and Minnesota results

He quit a blueblood program and fled to Minnesota - a place barren of quality basketball as it is frigid. The broader point is Tubby is susceptible to pressure. We should use it to our advantage (If possible).

The attendance for last night's game was reported at just under 9500...we can debate how many butts were actually in seats. Through 10 home games, the Tigers are averaging around 5300 in attendance. If we continue to draw crowds that fill less than 1/3 of the arena, while I don't expect there to be a change with the head coach, anything is possible.

According to others, Penny has made it known he wants the job. No public declaration. The closest you will get to that was an interview he did 2 years ago in which he said something about "when" he one day coaches the Tigers.

While most of us had us at 9-4 at this point in the year, it's the way we're losing and the lack of recruiting success.

We are showing that we are coachable and we give solid effort. Our wins have come from exactly that - coaching and effort. The problem is that our losses are coming from a talent deficit. Combine that with the fact that we are not seeing any sure talent coming in. So it leads to where 95% of us are.

I mean, that's sort of where we are. If you have another lined up that will change things and the money is there, pull the trigger. If you're firing him and hoping to hire someone, but not going to change the recruiting restrictions, don't bother.

Truthfully, LSU is not the WORST team in the SEC. Maybe preseason. But not now. Old Miss, Vandy have something to say about that.
