He’s gotta be pushing 80, but still looks a dude you don’t want to mess with.

Didn't he have some brothers? One of them used to live about a block from me in Raleigh back in the early 70's.

He had some brothers and a cousin nicknamed “Dago”. They were pretty legendary/notorious back in the day. Google George Tiller and/or Dago Tiller Memphis and you can read up.

I'm real aware of them. They killed their own cousin. At least one attended CBHS.

I was around George and Albert Tiller back in the mid 70's. Nice guys but I wouldn't have Crossed them back in the Day.

I believe Dago did that and Dago went to CBHS at one time.

I bet not.

After the whole Tony Barbee stare down and Ole miss fan choke out ordeal, I'd duck for cover, too.

George and Mike were friends of one of my good friends, Dante Ragghanti during my high school days at CBC, now CBHS. A cpuple of the hang-outs were Jungle Gardens and Toddle House as best I can remember. That was in the 1968 to 1961 time frame. Dante and I both fought in the Golden Gloves.

Did Dante have a brother named Brian?

You are confused. HoopDreams got choked out by the Johnny at RP Billiards. I’m 2-0 on the Highland Strip, son.

A very good friend of mine who has passed away (Gene Mason) knew George and Dago Tiller well use to tell me stories about them. Most of which he eye witnessed himself. Gene use to tell me that Dago was the baddest man in this galaxy. He showed me a letter that Dago had written Gene from jail wanting his help in trying to get out of jail with money and a possible appeal.

Dago shared a jail cell with James Earl Ray for a short period of time. Gene told me James Earl Ray screamed out for the guards saying something like...”get me out of here this guy is crazy”. Gene had a picture of both Dago Tiller and James Earl Ray from the jailhouse.

Crazy stuff.

RE: I just met George Tiller at an Xmas party
I heard from a eye witness that the tillers were class a punks. They would pick on a guy by himself with three of them. They deserved to kill each other. I assume that party was at some bar for low lifes cause thats who they are and who they associate with.
