UAB should be extremely proud of their football program and what they've been able to accomplish this season. They exceeded all expectations in their first season back and made it to a bowl game. What a way to return, GreaterBHAM! I can't wait to see what y'all do next season.

Can't agree more. Ohio and the top of the MAC( especially Toledo, Northern Illinois) are always tough as hell, no shame being beaten by any of these programs. Solich is a great coach, as is Clarke for UAB. Just not your day, but definitely a great yr.
The top of the MAC can play w/ anyone in the country. Has been that way the last 20+ yrs. and hope Toledo rocks their bowl game as well as the rest of the MAC. CMU's up now, go Chipps!~

It is painfully obvious these 8 win CUSA teams were some of the weakest 8 win teams in the country

FIU had bad misfortune with one of their best QB ever going down in the first series but UAB and UNT were just out classed

I made a point to not post on the AAC board after we toasted the SMU mustangs. After reviewing a couple threads, I remembered how many over there were pompous douche bags they have become with this whole P6 stuff. Now I come here to find some of them posting and just shake my head. Its a shame.

(A ) there are no middle tiers in power conferences
(B ) teams from real power conferences don't constantly get their coaches poached in the first place
(C ) teams from real power conferences don't make excuses
(D ) as I said, if the AAC is filled with people like you, I'll gladly stay where I am
