Closer location than Mobile and easier date yielded less fans, says a lot about the satisfaction level right now.

Yeah, it was an extremely unhappy fan base this trip. Fans had already long decided that this season was a failure, and playing MTSU was not going to fix that. If anything, it made it worse.

Sort of had that ULL 2016 NO Bowl vibe to it. Smaller crowd will attend, and those that do go will do so despite being very unhappy about it.

Only way that Anderson can fix any of this is to turn around and win 9-10 games next season and a conference title.

Anderson can't fix this! He's been here 4 years and we still see the stupid penalties and unprepared team.

I know that, you know that. But I'm just offering up a way that he could.

The biggest complaint you are hearing out of the fan base right now is that Arkansas State Football is no longer fun to watch, and that's a really big problem for both Anderson and our administration.

Have the announced the attendance for the game yet? I can't seem to track it down. Last two years it was announced that night.

Is this a passive aggressive way of saying we traveled better as Appalachian fans?

Well it wasn't the original intent. But I'll take it.

I imagine it was, but it's not something we'd talk about. We'd prefer everyone forget there was even a game Saturday, much less let them know that people saw it.

It's more a running joke that AState athletics conveniently forgets to announce anything like attendance/stats after a loss. It's literally gave over, and we all try to make everyone forget that it happened.
