I couldn't agree more. Had you played either of these teams you would have been toast.
Maybe, maybe not. Based on what I saw today, I think we could compete with either. But either way, we're okay with the Sun Belt title.

Arkansas State beat themseves. Dominated the game across the board, just couldn't get in the end zone at crucial times.
Somehow, Troy has always, and continues to attract some of the most unsportsmanlike thug players in college football. Completely classless.
That injury? Lol. Someone should have told him that you don't have to pretend to have a limp. And if you do, don't favor the leg you pretended to injure.
Other than that, great game.

They lost the right to say that when they lost to a bad USA team.

We dominated the red zone. We were #1 in the NCAA in red zone defense coming into the game.
I did feel most of the first half you guys were the much better team. We just made some great plays, and definalty were the better in the second half when it mattered.

At least next year we get a REAL answer. The conference championship will stop all this BS. Looking forward to it.

Going to agree with this post. They really clamped down in the red zone. But you do have to admit that our own miscues did help you guys out. Not taking anything away from your win. Your guys earned it tonight. I hope your next coach is a good one.

Yea, the past two App wins have been dominate. Can't express how much injuries held the team back mid-season. The App team we've seen past two weeks could defiantly beat either team.

Exactly. Troy's RedZone defense was the difference.

We were the better team overall.
But I will concede your red zone defense was impressive.

All depends on who shows up. The teams who showed up tonight or the teams who showed up to their South Alabama games.

I will disagree. We beat you guys at your house, where you never lose. You can argue miscues and shooting yourself in the foot, but you've had miscues for several games, and have failed to play a complete since south alabama. Thats part of who you are now, and not an anomoly. You finally played a team that was good enough to capitalize on your mistakes.
