RE: Flynn pleading guilty for lying to the FBI.....
I'll make a prediction.
The left will start to spin Flynn as a patriot and a hero. From a Russian conspirator to a hero.
That is their next step. They will have to build his credibility. Even though he is now a felon fired by the President.
It's predictable.

And the POTUS will go from defending Flynn to demonizing him. I wouldn't be surprised if he gives him a nickname.
Something like Flippin Flynn.

He fired Flynn because he had to. Two weeks after they told him Flynn was compromised.
Think about that for a moment.
Trump knew for two weeks that Flynn was compromised and he did nothing.
Don't try and revise history with me bub.

Dude you cannot be that naive.
If he lied for lying to Pence, why did it take him two weeks to do it?

If the Trump people asked Flynn to talk to the Russians at the end of Dec. 2016, and the election was over in Nov. 2016. How is this collusion?

It actually proves non-collusion. If he was colluding with Russia, why would he direct Flynn to start a dialog in December 2016? The narrative fell apart... again... with smoking gun evidence this time.

To be a fly on the wall in the white house right now would be epic. We should probably put the president on suicide watch.

Yeah I hear the suicide rates are real high among billionaire presidents with hot wives and successful kids. He's in a tough spot

Why does every Trump apologist seem to think they know, or should be privy to know, everything about an active investigation into the President and his administration? We didn't know this plea was coming until today, we didn't know about the Manafort raid until the moment of, and we didn't know about either Flynn or Papas turn to states witness until they were in court pleading guilty. We don't know everything they know, because it's a properly run investigation full of professionals who don't leak.
Furthermore, it's like the fact you don't turn states witness if you're pleading guilty to the only crime they can charge you with is entirely lost on you guys. No wonder you guys thought Trump was a good negotiator, the concept of leverage is entirely lost on you.

Probably the same reason why every Trump opponent seems to think he/she knows, or should be privy to know, everything about the investigation.
People on both sides take slivers of information and try to weave them into the tale that they want to be told. We will see what comes down when actual evidence is presented.

Will you guys spin this when Kushner and Donnie Jr. get indicted, perhaps very soon?
Depends on what they're indicted for. If it was lying about the J-walking ticket they got,.....well......you know.
Just multiple employees and family members with close ties to the president and his campaign and presidency lying to the FBI on multiple occasions...for what reason exactly if there was nothing to hide...but hey...just the equivalent of jay-walking, AMIRITE?
Just thinking what this room would be like if this was a D administration brings me to tears of uproarious laughter.
If this was a D administration there'd never be a special prosecutor.....for anything.
I said this room.
I know what you said, but the idea that there'd be a special prosecutor if Hillary had been elected is ridiculous.

What an odd criticism. First, you're quoting my comment in which I'm explicitly saying we don't know everything about the investigation. Secondly, try to create a false equivalency all you want, but multiple high ranking members of Trumps administration and campaign are literally facing criminal charges. Best case scenario, Trump is incompetent and appointed criminals and people he was warned were compromised.

Of course you're right. Even Trumps own AG stated he would need a factual basis which fits the criteria to appoint a special prosecutor when asked why there isn't one. You guys won the election, got all your guys in, and there's still no investigation. Time to stop beating that drum as if there is something there. Can't say the same thing about Trump and Russia though.

You sure about that? I thought I'd read all sorts of news about leaks from the investigation.....the coming indictment of Manafort, etc.

The "factual basis which fits the criteria to appoint a special prosecutor" is that the normal investigating and prosecuting authorities might have a conflict of interest. Since Hillary lost the election, there is no apparent conflict of interest. This doesn't mean that there is no factual basis for prosecution. It just means that the facts do not fit the particular requirements for appointing a special prosecutor.
