Agreed CSUB has been outscored 14-5 in the first six minutes of the second half and UCLA is already in the bonus.

Runners really need Durham to shoot well against good teams.

He's not shooting well tonight.

CSUB needs to stop fouling. They already lost Aly, and Ndoye has 4. At this rate I would not be surprised if UCLA gets as many free throws as the Runners get points this half.

Nah, that's how we play bud. Take the good with the bad. I'm listening not watching the game, so i can't speak to specific plays, but in general, we are who we are.

They're also playing against UCLA, with its five star bigs.

I know that how y'all play. I was raising concern over how early UCLA reached the bonus. The CSUB press is okay at best. I was originally going to say that y'alls press was as bad as UNM's but at least y'all can force some turnovers with it. The defense in the paint has been pretty good though.

75-66 UCLA. Good showing from CSUB all things considered. Amazing defense first off. Held UCLA to 2-17 from deep. Welsh was just dominate in the paint for UCLA, he's an NBA player. CSUB just had no answer in the post. Lots of fouls, some of which were really ticky tac but oh well. Nice to see Joiner start cooking. Seems like he had some more freedom tonight than usual. 20 points for him, 4-8 from deep and 4 boards. Can't rave enough about him. I also have been super impressed by Ricky Holden this year, excellent quick stat stuffing guard. This team is ready for conference play.

In these kind of games CSB has to get out to a lead. They had a chance early, the Bruins were cold and flat. But CSB didn't score enough. And the 9 point lead evaporated too quickly. Then the foul trouble caught up to us, the Bruins opened the half with a run, and it was done.

I'm not really disagreeing with you. I get frustrated by it myself, I just have learned to live with it because it's not going to change.

Still a good effort tonight. Although I'm not sure UCLA is going to win any wonderful contests this year. Pac10 is down. (Relatively of course).

I was impressed by almost comeback. UCLA got a good lead and that CSUB 8-0 made me think a comeback was possible. This was like the NMSU Saint Mary's game, both teams were in there but eventually the talent level caused the other team to win.

The Pac 12 is in a weird place. I think it will wind up bottom heavy but have its top 3 ranked.

Meanwhile Utah Valley just looked flat out bad vs. BYU at home tonight. What a lost opportunity losing at home in front of a sellout crowd.

Watching the KC-South Dakota game on tv. What the heck kind of gym is KC playing in tonight? It looks like the size of Sac State’s! Please don’t tell me this is where they play more than one game a year.

Pulled up to 50-57 with 7 minutes left in the game and gave them a little bit of a scare. The good news is that Kimasa showed some life after a year and half and put up 12 pts/8 rebounds.

What happened to Terry Winn? He doesn't seem to be playing. Is he injured? Or does he have to sit out the first games before he is eligible?

I was able to watch most of it and for playing a top ten team UTRGV did fairly well. Should be interesting to see how well they do in WAC play.

NMSU up 37-23 at the half

New Mexico State moves to 5-1 on the season about a 80-60 win over UTEP. AJ Harris with his best game as an Aggie with 18 points on 7 of 8 shooting. Johnny McCants with a solid game off the bench, 8 points, 5 rebounds.

They played tonight's game at the rec.

We actually play in the most historic venue in the WAC. Municipal auditorium hosted 3 of the first 4 final fours and the 2nd most overall tournament games ever. (dayton passed us in 2013)

The Muni gets booked for conventions sometimes. They also think on campus games brings out the students.

Was anybody there? Based on the team performance and fan support I can't see any conference inviting UMKC. Is UMKC considering dropping to D2 or is that just more bull from the Big Pest?

Definitely not, but dancing we schedule Omaha every year and we didn't this year. We are going back to summit which means I will stop watching/going. That league is boring.

Why would you stop watching/going b/c its a bunch of Dakotas and flyover state schools? If you support the Roos you will go anywhere they go. UMKC in the WAC or Summit is where they should be nothing more.
