Wrong. Saturday IS statement day, and the biggest game of all is Memphis @ UCF.

It just ain't basketball.

I went to our game last night and it was probably the best all-around game we’ve played this year. Granted it was against UT RGV but they are decent smaller school and we shut them down from the tip. Our freshman continue to progress and Shake bounced back nicely after a disastrous Atlantis tourney.

We might be favorites in 1 of those games.

We need 2 wins.

No doubt a statement day for Memphis football but I’m referring to our chance to make a statement as a conference against really strong OOC opponents.

Didn't realize that USC game was @SMU. Nice! Hope you guys can pick that one up.

I had noticed early on that SMU was running a very small rotation (number of guys, not size). I think I read SMU is getting 1 back from injury and 1 eligible at semester, is that right? Can you give a quick rundown on who is getting added and when?

We just got Agau (Georgetown transfer) back but he is still far from being effective. McMurray (USF transfer) will be eligible in three weeks. He is a volume scorer. Averaged 15 points a game as a freshman at USF.

As for our rotation we go nine deep which is three more than last season. When McMurray comes into the fold we will have ten in the rotation.

Rust, conditioning and his injury was/is an infection. Assuming he has no setbacks, he should be back to normal for conference play.
