And he is still afraid to play little ole UAB.

He's played UAB and lost to Davis.

Don't think Anderson was at Arkansas yet.

Davis played Arkanasas twice and won. John Pelphrey was coach at Arkansas

Yes, considering it is the players education as well, I think great coaches allow players to make decisions about their future.

Was wondering how many times this would be repeated before it was corrected.

A last second win for the Blazers on a dunk by Howard Crawford. Only other one I remember is Alan Ogg vs Michigan State a long time ago.

Maybe that is why Anderson avoids UAB. Playing UAB and losing got the last coach fired. 03-lmfao

That's right that was 2010 not 2011 oops.

Why on earth would he be scared to play UAB, when he's beating Uconn and the like? Scared maybe under Davis, definitely not else last two.

The shot by Howard Crawford was in Fayetteville in January 2010, right before conference play. We played them again the day after Thanksgiving in Little Rock in November 2011. I attended that game. We won in overtime by 5. Both games was Davis vs. Pelphrey.

And yes, Arkansas came to Bartow in 1990, I think and killed us. That was around the time they went to the final four. Mike Anderson was an assistant.

The last UaB-Arkansas game was Nov. 26, 2010. John Pelphrey was still the Razorbacks coach. XCMA didn't take the Arkansas job until March 2011.

The coach is in charge. Players don't have the unilateral ability to redshirt on their own. I expect the coach laid it out there as an option and Watts decided. And coming back after Nick went down was a no brainer.

You may be the first & only person to ever refer to Rob as a great coach. I hope he becomes one. Nothing thus far has hinted at greatness. (Fact. Not bashing the guy. I support him)

In the past, he said or strongly implied he would bring his new team to Bartow one we got rid of all his players.

Still waiting.

Not a one time deal, a home & home or a two for one.
