Congrapps on the share of the conference title. Better team won today. App is just a rock that we cannot break.

Hope you guys enjoyed the visit. We'll get the entrances and concessions worked out eventually, but it has been a problem all year. Even at the high school kick off.

The game was never in doubt after the coin toss.

I'd say it was for sure up for grabs at halftime.

Venue has potential, seating was nice, I would see a couple tweaks down to line to make that place top notch. Do need to replace the board, many pixels weren’t working.

Biggest need is help from logistics to enter the stadium and especially on concessions. Honestly this type of experience could be a detriment to attendance if not addressed this offseason. I like panamas suggestion to hire it out. Very unprofessional staff currently. Reminds me of the Charlotte Bobcats before Jordan took over and they spent money to ensure positive customers experiences.

I’d find a couple of local vendors to sale local food, bbq, deserts, etc. Put a few drink stands along the concourse on ice.

Plenty of bathrooms even should attendance increase.

Interested to see what you guys do next.
Did they have cups with ice?

I wouldn’t know about the ice. I was unwilling to sacrifice an entire quarter standing in line to find out.

It's ok. He'll mumble some reassuring colloquialisms in your direction until Becker steps in and makes things right.

It was a most enjoyable day at "The Ted" today. Apps played pretty well and for once the game was decided before the final seconds. Once GSU gets all their facilities built out at that location it will be fantastic. I'm interested to see what other changes they make to the stadium as it certainly has potential.

Good luck in Bowl season, Panthers.

Lots of potential, yes. But lots of work to do. That scoreboard is in a bad place. I may be in a neck brace tomorrow from having to crane around all day to look at it. Literally behind my right shoulder. Best I could tell, only one concession stand open. Took one look at the line and said "screw that!" Parking situation was great though. Easy access and close-in. Interestingly, the beer stands were the only vendors I saw all day with no lines. Apparently the Braves left two things behind: the organ and the Hank Aaron statue. How could they leave Hammerin' Hank behind?

Keep in mind that GSU took over the property in January. The goal from then until August was basically be able to play football there. The signage off the interstate literally got changed the afternoon of August 31st (day of first game).

Light years better than the Dome and will only get better with subsequent phases. There are definitely parts of the stadium that haven't been touched, but those are all untapped opportunities. As it stands, I'd put it up with any stadium in the G5.

Any stadium in the G5 is a stretch, let’s see what you guys do to improve the fan experience this offseason and interior upgrades though before ranking them.

attendance 13154.

Never really saw a good shot of the gast stands. What percent of the fans would you say were APPS?

13 seems high, 40% appeared to be App, 90% on the short side and quite a few on the large side were App fans. I saw a couple dozen former players and Lamb much have have 30 of his friends and family in attendance.

It was a much more subdued App fanbase than I’m used to seeing at away games though.

Any stadium in G5? Do you honestly believe that?

The place is big, but its clesr the Braves put very little money towards maintenance the past few years. Everything looks weathered and worn out. Even the new seating section is full of old seats from the sections removed during the change over. Site lines are akward for football in a lot of sections, there are holes and old glue all over the walls where Braves signage was taken down, and the whole place needs a new coat of paint.

The scoreboard sums up the whole stadium. Big and impressive from a distance, but up close it has sections that don't work, it doesn't point the right direction, and is old worn out technology. As is it might be top half in the Sun Belt at best.

It has potential, but its going to take a LOT of money to make it look good. Good luck getting Cobb and crew to do it the right way.

Ga State looks so much better this year congrats on future success.

I'd say defense is about the same (it was good last year), but their offense is only slightly better.

well good news dissatisfied visitors. new video board, new chairs, new restaurants, new parking decks, new offices, and other upgrades are in the works for next 5 phases. We barely had enough time to convert the field and take down the Braves signs.

In the past, Charlie Cobb mentioned them in local radio, press videos, and interviews. If I come upon any archives, I'll post here. GSU will try to squeeze in as much upgrades during each offseason as time allows. Without any unplanned hindrance, each phase should be finished every offseason. He also said he will reveal more information little by little to the public as he sees fit. By the time our new basketball arena is finished, I'm sure the football stadium will be completed too.

an App fan mentioned a fund issue, but that shouldn't be a factor. We already secured enough private funding and the state of Georgia will also be providing good chunk of money because we classified both the stadium and basketball arena as "educational multi-purpose facility"

Not enough bleacher seats or tracks around the field tbh.
