FWIW: fact check.
each season there are 12 regular season games.
Half are usually home - and six are away.
Eight games are MAC games. Four played on road, four played at home, Five games played within the division , three are cross overs.

NIU played three home MAC mid weekday games and scheduled to play two weekday road games UT/CMU).. for a total of five weekday games counting upcoming black Friday .

5 of 12 are weekday games played on other than Saturdays - discounting BC played on Friday before Labor Day holiday weekend - a wise choice IMHO.

Genuine midweek games (4) is less than half of the schedule , two at home, 2 away.

This DOES NOT mean I support the MAC scheduling process.

Yeah hopefully something can change quickly, there sure are not many fans left

The Black Friday games can be fun. When we used to have them, I would combine the game with the start of my Christmas shopping at VCB. Okay, so the gifts are all for me, but you know what I mean. It can be a fun day.

what makes it different from weekday nite 01-ncaabbs games is many fans are off work and can get to day games and with much less hassle

My DirecTV DVR currently shows that there will be a game on CBSN at that time, but it does not mention who is playing.

FYI you can stream CBSSN live via a Hulu live membership. If you don't have it you can get a free live trial for something like 1 week...just remember to cancel your subscription!

I already did this for the SD St game so I have to try with a second email & credit card.

I had to use my laptop though and was not able to stream the game thru my Roku on the Hulu app.

Here are the MACtion game for tonight. NIU should close its season on Black Friday every year. Make it a regular thing and start the tradition. Tuesday night ESPN3 games make no sense.

Kent @ Akron ESPNU
BG @ EMU ESPN3
Miami @ Ball State. ESPN3

Akron will clinch the east with a win over Kent State tonight. Just noticed that neither Kent State or Ball State have scored over 100 total points in their 7 MAC games so far, and Kent State's only MAC win this year was against Miami...and Miami beat Akron.

It is also a trophy game as they are playing for the Wagon Wheel. An Akron vs NIU MACC rematch would be great...

I'm sure the Wagon Wheel is not as nice as the Bronze Stalk!

You could always give PS Vue a try too, they have a free trial and CBSSN

That’s an absolute crime that EMU & Ball St (or any FBS team) has to play its final home game on a Tuesday night on espn3

This has been a crazy year; there are a handful of MAC teams that have been just terrible. A few, like BSU, have been decimated with injuries. They were a much different team at the start the year. Another crazy stat; if we lose to CMU and Toledo wins, we would have failed to beat a team with a winning record all year during the regular season.

Except for people who have to work. Because there are lots of places open for business on that day, like post offices, grocery, retail, banks etc...

So yeah I DO care that they schedule football at 11 AM on a Friday. I'd ask to you to stop making stupid claims or speaking for others but I see you can't help yourself.

WMU is 6-5. We beat them last week.

If you reread what I posted; if WMU loses to Toledo, they end up 6-6; not a winning record.

Oh you wanted me to do the math...sorry, I forgot Toledo vs WMU minus for WMU is 6-6. Got it.

NIU is playing to end a 3 game losing streak against CMU.
Remember when Joe Novak had 6 straight wins against CMU!

Ehh... if Toledo wins the early game the result of our game is mute as far as Detroit.
