IT'S A COOL EVENT THAT ALLOWS YOU TO BRING YOUR DOG FOR EXTRA $10!!!! consider it a tip for the janitorial staff to clean up after your nasty dogs. This thread is ridiculous

Does it have to be your dog, or can you bring any dog?

as long as you can provide these up-to-date vaccinations, go for it.
Rabies - given annually, but sometimes can be a 3 year.
DHLP - (Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Para influenza) - all given annually, sometimes referred to as the Combo Vaccination, especially when it includes Parvo.
Parvo - given annually, many times this is included in the DHLP and indicated as DHLPP.
Bordatella - given either every six months or annually. Sometimes referred to as: Kennel Cough OR Tracheobronchitis.

It's a good idea. I know my 2 millenial nieces (and their friends) who live ITP would go just because of the dog aspect. Otherwise they would not be there.

Whatever gets butts in seats. Most of my tailgate crew is out of town for Thanksgiving. And everyone who I have approached about taking tickets are UGA/GT watching.

Doubtful but I don't think anyone on these boards knows. You are more than welcome to reach out to GSU athletics and ask about it.

Then App fans are called sensitive, good thread.
"Will dog butts count towards official attendance?"

That's one way to get the average up!

Nobody cares about attendance except a couple of G5 who think averaging 25k makes them special. Its impressive in FCS but the reality is its one third of a bad SEC crowd.
Bowl reps, ADs, recruits...?
You're g5. Attendace will suck any bowl you are invited to.

You do understand that a dog cannot buy a ticket? The ticket is to allow the dog's owner to bring the dog in the building.
I cannot believe I had to explain that.

NOLA Bowl may prefer a LA team for attendance but G5 bowls are not worrying about attendance because all of the G5 bowls will be 75%. And yet they still keep getting sponsored. It's content for TV.

The bowls care about attendance, they really do, they want to sell tickets, have people eat at restaurants, and buy hotel rooms, a few thousand does matter to them.
We’re all G5 and will be the rest of our lifetime. Embrace it.

This is going to be an unpopular post. You may laugh now....but Georgia State will be in the AAC sooner than everyone here may believe. We hit all the following check marks: academics, money, state-of-art facilities, competent AD/President, and a large TV market. We can compete with the AAC in most sports. We're just waiting for our football program to become competitive at the G5 level. Our tangible institutional qualities are comparable to UCF, Houston, Memphis, Cincinnati, South Florida, and etc. Poke fun at our football program now, but things may be very different few decades from now.
Edit: Yes I know very well that AAC is still G5. I'm just speaking about making the next "big leap" in our lifetime

AAC is G5...
Also, you have nearby GT and UGA. You may all the "intangibles" but what you have to compete with for fans is going to be an incredibly difficult climb.
