I'm pretty confident in saying that unless you're at one of these mentioned blue blood schools or Michigan State, NC, or UCLA that Vitale can't name one player on your team.

Does anybody here really think he knows who Gary Clark is? Keep in mind were talking about a 4 year starter whose been in the NCAAs every year and been a conference defensive player of the year.

I'd be shocked beyond belief if Vitale didn't know who Gary Clark is.

I'm not sure how this would be a shock to your system. I am reminded every week that the championship runs through Cincinnati. Cincinnati.

Vitale may know him in that Gary Clark was offered by Maryland, NC State, Pitt and Wake. But he sure as hell doesn't know he's
at Cincinnati.

I wouldn't be shocked. Most of those media types are lazy.

Oh, great catch. How could I forget the power of such positive thinking!

Out temporarily, for the game, longer term?

And further, Greenberg went on to pick Cincy to win it all. Pretty heady stuff--actually made me cringe a little at first. Hearing "Cincinnati" and "Championship" in the same sentence is a shock to our systems after the long dry spell around these parts.

But after further thought I decided it's all good. All here want UC to be high profile again; we're historically elite and this is simply getting back in the spotlight after a massive rebuild. And it certainly can't hurt that UC and WSU will shine a spotlight on the AAC this season.

Finally, while I don't believe conference movement as imminent, I'd rather UC be the top dog in this conference in basketball (and football) as much as possible. We know UCONN football won't take their school to the P5 promised land and if their basketball falters some it makes their case a little tougher still, if and when a slot opens.

Cincinnati has always led the nation in playing hard, defending and rebounding. This UC team can really score, and is Final Four worthy.

Radford looking to upset East Carolina. Knotted up at 59 with 4 minutes left. If they and UCF go down tonight these will be awful losses

Him and BJ Daniels? injuries. Will be back. Webb had a 3 chance to take a 2 pt lead near the end, no go. Then a 3 to tie, miss. Almost Coog'd it.

I would love if we could replace ECU with someone else. Mayne Army? Marshall? Western KY?

Poor Arch. He'll get it turned around, next year, right?

Indiana (1-2) 68
22 Seton Hall (3-0) 84

Happy for Seton Hall Coach Kevin Willard. He's quietly put in the time and work and it appears to be paying off. Willard (8th season) has the longest tenure at Seton Hall since P.J. Carlesimo.

I wouldn't feel too bad for him. He'll proably get Romeo Langford and a pretty stellar recruiting class. Crean didn't leave much on the cupboard.
