I’m just glad we’re taking care of business against teams they should. Winning by 30 and 40 to start the year should put some confidence in this team.

No, but since Bryant set the mark for a first game, I gotta think he has it for two games.

I'd like to know this too. I can't imagine anyone has scored more than him in his first two games as a freshman.

RE: Chattanooga Game Thread
A quick check of the Freshman Debut list.

1. Zack Bryant - 1st game 18. second game 17.
2. Terrance Roderick - 1st game 17 - second game 0
3. Demario Eddins - 1st game - 15 - second game - 16 (against Chattanooga btw)
4. Marvin Ray Johnson - 1st game 12, second game unknown
5. Javien Williams - 1st game 11, second game - 0

Everyone else had less than 11 in their first game.

So yes, Scootie has the record, unless someone didn't register in their first game and went crazy in the second.

Bryant 35
Eddins 31

I'm not going to do this after three games too 03-lmfao

HAHA! You probably should've looked up Eddins third game just for reference! Thanks for doing that, I'm assuming Eddins had the record after 2 games as well.

Eddins had 15 in his third game and 16 in his 4th game. Demario was a monster freshman.

How many games into his freshman season did Mo Finley score 95 or whatever against Fresno State?

I do have this little nugget of trivia. These last two games (195 points total) have had the highest two game total for the Blazers since we scored 79 against South Florida and 116 against Hiwassee in 2015. The record is 208 points (111 points against Prairie View A&M and 97 points against Nicholls State in 1992.

I thought someone said he was going to redshirt?
Maybe Hurtado too?

I know Chattanooga lost some key guys from last year's team, but getting beat by 42 is quite a drop.

Our team looks like it's got the pieces to be pretty good. Hard to say just how good given the competition so far though.

Agreed. He appears to just be going through the motions right now.
