Did anyone really thought that the cartel was going to move AAC teams into top 15? We might get UCF in top 12-15 if they go undefeated

cfp doesnt make final rankings, which are the only ones used to evuate seasons..this gave us what we needed which was simply that we control our own destiny for the p6

How are 8, 2-loss teams ahead of UCF & 2, 3-loss teams ahead of Memphis? Nothing but unsupportable bias.........

RE: CFP: #18 UCF, #22 Memphis
They are gonna eventually be forced to. Right now, its just shuffling the chairs until they run out of moves with a 3 loss team. The only team that jumped UCF was Michigan State, obviously due to their big win (although a jump of 12 was a little outlandish). Most of the teams that lost that were in front of UCF did not fall back enough. However, they are on deck. From what it appears, the take home message is a 2 game handicap for the P5 vs the tweener1. The cannibalization is gonna start of the top 15 soon. I don't think we will see a 3 loss team ahead of them if they stay undefeated.

Although, the committee likes top 10 ranked wins. Even though I laughed a little at their 12 slot jump for Michigan state....... they are at least consistent. Houston was unranked before the Louisville game last year and jumped in at 20 after. That's still quite a big jump and I doubt they were at 26 prior..... probably a lot further down prior.

Well, ISU plays OkSt this week so they'll likely be a 4-loss team. Iowa plays WI & that will likely make Iowa a 4-loss team so that should help Memphis - although a bi-week will probably hurt. And while I didn't check the schedules, I assume there are two-loss school ahead of UCF that will likely lose again too - which should help UCF but then there's the P-5 bias that continue to hurt the AAC. And the excuse I hear continually is the "resume", but the very games we all want to play OOC as AAC members, we can't get.

Wisconsin and Washington have very similar SOS to UCF and are 10 places higher. Got another theory?

the northwestern and the missippi state rankings make no sense to me..

do i feel they robbed the AAC? 100% but i also dont get their rankings over certain p5

northwestern over Michigan makes no sense..northwestern has 3 losses including a blowout loss to Duke..michigan is 7-2, both top 15 ...is a Michigan state win worth that much..
why is Mississippi state so HIGH?

That's their latest genius move to completely control the rankings. It's not about who you lose to or by how much, it's about who you beat. NW beat Michigan State and Iowa which the committee now deem "good".
An AAC team can only have so many of these types of wins, because they can just deem the teams we beat as not good.

missisisppi state is ranked so high because they play bama and they need to hype two ranked teams for tv.

bama is gonna beat them like a rented mule.

CFB Playoff Committee Thought Process...If you're not that good, but are in a P5 conference, you're actually pretty good.
If your good, but you are in a G5 conference, your not that good.

Well this confirms that there is no chance of a G5 making the playoff in any situation, so there's that at least.

That is a brutally harsh ranking for ucf.

My only hope is UCF can finish the season undefeated, including the NY6 game. If they do that, we should hang a huge national championship banner in the stadium and dare Kirby Hocutt to come take it down.
