Yeah, you just keep waiting for that. Maybe one day people will recognize how important women's basketball is in realignment. 07-coffee3

Totally agree. The AAC has a good thing going. Let’s keep doing what we are doing.

The only scenario I see making sense would be to add Boise and BYU. Otherwise we have no need to expand.

AAC 2020:
AAC Land : Army, Houston, USF, UConn, Temple, Memphis, Tulsa
AAC Sea: Navy, SMU, UCF, Cincinnati, UMass, ECU, Tulane

In basketball, there would be no divisions and we could possibly add in VCU and Dayton for basketball and the other Olympic sports. Army and Navy would obviously be football members only just as Navy is currently.

If you were doing Land and Sea, shouldnt it be:

Land: Army, Memphis, Tulsa, SMU, Cincy, Temple, Uconn
Sea: Houston, USF, Navy, Tulane, ECU, Umass, UCF

Rutgers proved that sports aren't important at all in realignment.

Dumb post. You are probably one of those people who tells a dumb joke and then laughs really hard afterwards.

What actual athletic department? UConn? The team that is 3-6 in a G5 conference?

Yup, as we sit in the middle of the B1G standings we don't play sports. 07-coffee3

I see all this talk of what adding Army and Air Force would do for the AAC conference.

Having said that, even if everyone is on board and willing. Has anyone ever reconciled how you make the Army v Navy game work? They have said they are not willing to move the game.

http://footballscoop.com/news/navy-would...navy-game/

If they aren’t willing to move it, how could you have a Championship game when a conference game has yet to be played?

Nothing more Rutgers than bragging about being 4-5 with a loss to Eastern Michigan
