Call me silly, but I'm less worried about a president bowing to our allies than I am about a president sharing classified information with Russia. But I guess the bow matters to someone, somewhere.

*ahem* 07-coffee3

I thought this was common knowledge, like his habit of walking out of rooms prior to signing the EO's, but sure. This well sourced Wiki article should give you a start on catching up on all the utterly indefensible things Trump has done to severely hamper our international standing. You can google from there, but there are a plethora of sources citing this incident on the wiki itself.

You mind sourcing literally anything for your claim you made in this thread? Or are you just not concerned with making factually incorrect statements?

Well sourced wiki article... a phrase you will never hear a well-read intelligent person say.

From Wikipedia itself:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Academic_use

Quote:Wikipedia is not considered a credible source. Wikipedia is increasingly used by people in the academic community, from freshman students to professors, as an easily accessible tertiary source for information about anything and everything. However, citation of Wikipedia in research papers may be considered unacceptable, because Wikipedia is not considered a reliable source.

But lemme guess, it didn't bother you in the least that this woman was routinely asked to print out and disperse documents for the Secretary of State, some of which may have been classified. Am I right?

And before ya go all parse-nick on me, here's Snopes doing their best to cover Clinton's ass on the matter.

Quote:One heavily redacted e-mail began with a request from Clinton to Abedin for “Marina to print for me in AM,” but its contents were not retrievable. It is possible the e-mail is in fact still classified, and that Marina accessed sensitive material, but it is also possible that the document contained unclassified material — despite the e-mail’s many redactions.

https://www.snopes.com/hillary-clinton-r...documents/

No, it bothered me, and I supported the investigation into her email server. But this is bothering me more currently, since Clinton isn't recieving classified information anymore and Trump is.

Lol...the sheer hypocrisy of that statement is freaking awesome

Yea, THAT’s pretty much next level schit right there.

Talk about lack of self awareness...

So no BBC article or Economist piece writing about him embarrassing us? Huh, seems like this position only exists in the right-wing echo chamber.

Woooop!

Someone’s got a shiny new fave catch-phrase!

Working to wear it out quick, though!

Most well-read intelligent people would think that using about a Wikipedia article which has clear sources one can reference for a discussion on an internet messageboard is absolutely acceptable, and that someone complaining about said article without a specific complaint is clearly a troll without anything to add to the discussion.

It's got to be tough on you continually trying to catch me slipping up and thoroughly being rebuked time and time again.

Sure about that?

Unless it’s something new, the Cank, crooked Huma, crooked Cheryl and a whole host of others still maintain their TS clearances.

I know, that’s frightening as fucc!

With their criminal and incompetent backgrounds can you even imagine the ruination and criminality potentially going on even now?

Makes one shudder...

Like many libs, you're very bright and also almost totally lacking in shame. I suspect it's genetic. Perhaps an extra hypocrite chromosome or something.

Bowing is a sign of respect. Not sure why Trump wouldn't want to show respect for Japan's emperor. I mean they are our ally right?

I have plenty of shame when the situation arises. For instance, when I'm wrong I will quickly apologize and correct myself as many users here can attest. But I'm not wrong here, and he's being a child, so I responded similarly.

What exactly do you think happened with that Uranium one deal? Do you mind providing a source for this claim that Bill was paid for the deal?

How you bow and when you bow is not as simple as respect. You don't bow deeply, hardly at all, to someone of an equal or lower station. If you bow more than 15 degrees or so you are being submissive, not respectful.

If the person is of equal rank a 15 degree bow, at most, is appropriate but not required.

You talk about "respect" but you don't respect the Japanese enough to inform yourself before mouthing off about how people should behave.

I just don't get all the breathlessness, indignation, and feigned national security fears about Trump campaign people having conversations with the Russians when it is as obvious as the nose on one's face that Hillary Clinton openly peddled her position as Sec of State to enrich herself and her family at the country's expense.

Actually, I do get it. (D)

You mean high ranking members of the Trump campaign actively pursuing illegally procured harmful information on their political opponent while discussing possible changes to sanctions currently in place in return?

Does that really not matter to you?

I don't know why but when I saw this thread I immediately thought of Jesus washing the feet of his disciples.

What would Jesus have done?

He probably would have bowed.
