how is Ray Lawry?

Actually, I think we will win but I just liked the humorous spirit of some of the above posts and wanted to play along.

In my experience, never underestimate the ability of your team to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. However, in this case, I'm going with the Monarchs to find someone to unleash all the potential on ..... ODU finds an offense, completes some deep balls, stands tough on defense, and doesn't muff up the special teams play -- and yes, in a dream/fantasy world, has zero, zip, nada, cero turnovers.

I will be bringing an Aussie guest to the game, who will undoubtedly say, "what is with all of the pads and helmets?"

Team needs a win this week in the worse way. I think it happens.

I do not like this matchup, not at all.

the 49ers run a Zone Read run first Spread.
RB Benny LeMay leads the 49er running attack, but i am also concerned with the big Freshman RB Aaron McAllister who averages 5.5 yds/.
Quarterback Hasaan Klugh is the number two rusher on the team.
The passing game is a short ball control dink and dunk.

On defense UNCC runs a 3-4 which is more effective vs the rush than the pass.
This is a decent defense.


If we play our usual soft 4-2-5 zone, Klugh could eat us up underneath. That he is a running QB makes this even more problematic.
We must be able to pass. If not then they may be able stuff our rushing game.

I think we have better personnel on both sides of the ball, but the style matchup and a running QB scare the hell out of me.

If we can go a full sixty minutes without turning the ball over, we will win this game. If we turn the ball over three times or more, we are highly likely to lose this game. Anything in between, and it becomes a toss-up. I believe it falls into the toss-up category, and we win in a squeaker, 31-28.

They have gotten a little better as the year has come on, but they are not a good team. It we cannot beat them at home, it will say alot about where we are (or there are a bunch of turnovers, crazy plays). If our offense executes like it has the last 2 weeks, they will not hold us under 40 unless their offense can just keep the ball for 40 mins per game.

OT but Kiffen is a moron. They still won but he miscalculated time and gave Marshall a chance.

Ok snappy. Kiffen was a moron in terms of game management tonight.

As the halftime show on TV was going off, one of the announcers kind of mumbled, "Say goodbye to Coach."

Think he'd be smart to wait another year but in the past he's shown to be pretty quick to depart.

Not a chance in hell he was on the phone with anybody at TN. UT hates him more than ODU folk hate the Rams.

Probably not a sell out, thier not scanning game tickets. My group was able to walk right in.
