One thing is for sure. If Neal Brown leaves, Troy can:

a. Certainly afford another good coach

That's school cost to fire him. The cost for him to get out of the contract may be different. Anderson has to pay $2 million to get out but AState can fire for much less.

Just working off his Base Salary, that's about $338,000 per win.

Most fans were fine with what we resigned him for a few years ago. Showed good commitment from the administration, etc, etc. And at the time he was winning (4 straight 9-4 seasons, bowl games). Problem now is that the darn buyout is so expensive.......declining each year of the contract. Otherwise I really believe he would have been gone already. Still might be after this season. Past time for new direction.............................

What happened to Hudspeth? His first four seasons, he went 36-16 and 4-0 in bowls. He was on top of the world and being considered for P5 jobs.

Now everything he's built has completely fallen apart.
