RE: 2017-2018 AAC Basketball Media Days (with Preseason Coaches Poll / Awards)
I am extremely curious to see how Wichita State pans out this year in the American. I think if I were a Shocker fan, I would hold the bragging to a minimum. You have a great program and a great coach. I would love to have a problem in the same UNIVERSE as yours. But this is a tough league. I would be "shocked" if Wichita doesn't take a couple lumps this year while adjusting to the stiffer competition week in, week out.
Should be exciting to see.

The probability that Wichita State gets roughed up in the AAC this year is low. If it happens this board will explode and I will have even more fun. It's a no-lose proposition for me.

I believe that would result in a flagrant foul, two shots, the ball, and an ejection.

Well, it is Cincinnati after all. Certainly a program known for their share of ejections and flagrant fouls.

We love it physical and rough but we play within the rules. We don't look to commit battery on the court to gain an advantage even though we've been victim to that strategy by other teams. Make no mistake, if Wichita State wanted to get thuggish we would excel. Every year our team looks like a gang of bodybuilders thanks to the superb tutelage of one of the best strength and conditioning coaches in the nation in Kerry Rosenboom.

I cannot wait to see how Kerry transforms our new 7ft-1 "God Bear". He looks to be already very well proportioned for a freshman center.

You are sheltered if you expect message boards to be classy.
UC fouls less than almost any team in America and still plays physical basketball. So **** you for taking the fun out of some playful banter by taking the use of "throat punch" completely literal. Get over yourselves already.
Dumb and expected.
Feel free to go back through the years and see where Cincinnati ranks playing defense within the rules before spouting some ignorant BS. https://www.teamrankings.com/ncaa-basket...2017-04-04
I can't wait to throat-punch WSU.
