Remember when Slick Rick was involved....yeah the one that was paying Kevin Ware and buying him hookers. Then tossed him to the side after he was hurt. Louisville will turn into Rutgers without cheating.

It's really weird how he is so bitter at Louisville. He really seems to have an axe to grind with Bridgewater for whatever reason. He can't enjoy his own team's success without worrying about Louisville.

Is he a UK fan in disguise?

Louisville won't be punished just as UNC won't be punished. They are part of the reigning elite now. The NCAA won't cut off the hand that feeds them any more then a person on Welfare would cut up their EBT card. Just isn't going to happen. 05-stirthepot

I disagree, they will get punished for NC. They are the ugly sister brought in to serve those above them. NC is a blue blood, UL is new money.

Bingo. UNC is the bigger program, bigger fanbase and much more important to the NCAA.

I agree with this. UL isn't part of the AAU club as well as being new money.

There is another reason. The NCAA knows they all bring in a bunch of athletes who have no business being in college. So they are scared of admitting that. On the other hand, what they really care about is $$s. So the type of violation they most care about is agents. This is basically an agent case. It exposes the thin line they often cross on professionalism and how the programs make money while the athletes only get tuition & board.

Louisville should have opened the party up to everyone. Then they could use the UNC defense.

If you look at the college presidents, you will probably find the vast majority of them got their Phd from about 30 schools. UNC is one of those 30 schools. Its the Ivy, Big 10, California Pac 12, UNC, UVA, Duke and a few others. They've never had any problem nailing Auburn, SMU, Arizona St. or even Kentucky. Those schools contribute very few college presidents.

"all but 6 schools" ... there's 4 regions in the bracket. Your fanbase isn't as big and your academics are nowhere close to the elites. UL isn't anywhere remotely as powerful politically the NCAA as UNC.

Y'all are going to get hammered. You won't get hammered as bad as a Wichita State or SMU would get hammered though.

Saying the same...more likely another 1 year ban and a reduction of scholarships..and Louisville has in the recent Tournament given CBS/NCAA good TV Ratings..easy to recover from

Well at least they won't have to worry about the NCAA penalizing them.

Pitino is officially fired.

"I do not dispute ULAA's right to terminate my employment at its discretion," Pitino's affidavit stated. "But I vehemently reject its right to do so 'for cause.' I have given no 'cause' for termination of my contract."
