So it comes out that both Gwyneth Paltrow and Angelina Jolie were harassed by Weinstein.

What do these two stars have in common? intimate relationships with Brad Pitt. In fact Pitt accosted Weinstein after Paltrow was harassed. Years later he hooked up with Jolie-- also an alleged victim.

Both George Clooney and Matt Damon helped bury stories about Weinstein. Who is George and Matt's best friend? Brad Pitt.

[Image: Matt-Damon-George-Clooney-Brad-Pitt-Pranks.jpg]

https://www.popsugar.com/celebrity/Matt-...s-43471264

Seems like Ben Affleck, who is close to Damon, has now attacked Weinstein as scum of the earth. But how about his two buddies who helped cover up Weinstein's activities? Not a word.

See there is no damn difference between these Liberal Hollywood Elite "Social Justice Warriors" who protected Weinstein for years... and those who protected Bill O'Reilly and Roger Ailes for doing the same damn thing.

But the Media Elite crucified O'Reilly and Ailes.

How can Pitt have any relationship with a couple of scumbags who covered for the douchebag that harassed his women?

The bottom line... nobody is going to Rock the Boat when it comes to their paycheck.

Affleck? The alcoholic? Didn't he have a really nasty divorce with Jennifer Garner?

At that point, it wouldn't be difficult (one would think) for them to just come out and speak out against this and further improve their image with their base and others.

Unless...

They're not talking because there's a lot more dirt out there. That's really the logical answer here. Put yourselves in their shoes and think about it. It would be incredibly simple to put out a statement saying, "I'm shocked, really. I never knew that side of him and it disgust me."

I have a funny feeling the reason we're not seeing a lot of that is because they know if they do... he'd swing back.

"a lot more dirt out there".

don't be bringing in some weakass dump truck.

Or even a XXX Ton loader from some strip mine.

Nor a bunch of Macks, Freightliners, Kenworths or a 100,000 Peterbilts.

This could, and will, go deeeeeep into the disgusting INDUSTRY that is pervasive out there, and would be anathema to 99.6% of any sane person out there.

Polanski is French (Polish-French) so it was a little different. He couldn't be extradited because he still has French nationality. Plus he raped a 13 year old.

Weinstein is a habitual human waste, but I don't believe any of his accusers are underage (?). If he is brought up for charges on anything, he won't be able to hide in Europe.

Still as confused as usual I see.

I did not say ANY of these allegations were fake. I said that the Times supposedly burying a scoop of this magnitude for no real reason whatsoever is what's fake. Of course they would have ran with this money making story the moment they had it.

But I'm sure you can point out all the posts I made in support of Weinstein or the ones in which I said he won't or shouldn't do any time.

Bottom line, I couldn't care less about Weinstein and know virtually nothing about him. Besides, I mostly deplore anything that comes out of Hollywood in the movie realm because anything recent mostly sucks ass. It's all predictable with overblown budgets, noisy action that's all computer generated, and dialogue that's all contrived and spoken so low you can't hear it...and then everything is wrapped up with a bow and a predictable happy ending.

Now run along.

The dialogue is probably just overrun by the special effects. It seems you almost need a sound bar if you are watching on TV.

Plenty of cases of media hiding stories on favored people (all of them knew about JFK and Marilyn). You just don't want to believe your Times is as sleazy as Weinstein and the Penn St. president, despite a very detailed article describing the investigation. You probably still think Hillary isn't a crazy old corrupt, incompetent politician.

Times had the story in 2004, but refused to publish.

...In 2004, I was still a fairly new reporter at The New York Times when I got the green light to look into oft-repeated allegations of sexual misconduct by Weinstein. It was believed that many occurred in Europe during festivals and other business trips there.

I traveled to Rome and tracked down the man who held the plum position of running Miramax Italy. According to multiple accounts, he had no film experience and his real job was to take care of Weinstein’s women needs, among other things.

As head of Miramax Italy in 2003 and 2004, Fabrizio Lombardo was paid $400,000 for less than a year of employment. He was on the payroll of Miramax and thus the Walt Disney Company, which had bought the indie studio in 1993.

I had people on the record telling me Lombardo knew nothing about film, and others citing evenings he organized with Russian escorts....

LOL. More fake equivalency. Bill cheated on his wife. Donald has done that extensively. Bill was accused of sexual harassment. Donald Trump has admitted to it.

Hillary's only involvement in this issue is to not divorce her husband over it. And she's no longer a political figure.

----
But Weinstein has a Jewish surname and Trump is a WASP Republcan. So apparently Weinstein should be held to a higher standard than Trump.

To be clear I think Weinstein should be fired. So should Trump.

Yeah...so. Isn't it understandable? And per the link, several other outlets were looking into it as well.

Wouldn't you agree that if you're going to be a legitimate news agency that you'd do your best to make sure you had the goods before going to print? Especially on a big public figure like him?
