Actually it doesn't violate their rights. The 1st amendment is about prohibiting the governement from limiting speech, not a private company.

And they would support school districts firing someone who posted something negative about BLM on a private facebook page.

I know you are right but this is the NAACP trying to stay relevant.

Forcing somebody to go out and sing/stand for a special song that has nothing to do with their job might be a problem.

What about forcing them back into a hotel room Saturday night "curfew"? Has nothing to do with their job.

NFL athletes are entertainers, they are required to wear costumes in a specific manner and conduct themselves in a specific way. There is no 1st amendment issue here. The only issue that might come up is if there is some language in the player association contract.

Again, this has nothing to do with their job description. I get making them stand if they are out there or letting them stay in the locker room if they choose to but there is going to be a bigger problem if you force somebody out there that doesn't want to be out there. It's like forcing someone to prayer with co-workers before work.

What, an NFL player is going to file a lawsuit so he doesn't have to stand for the Anthem? 03-lmfao03-lmfao03-lmfao

NFLPA.

Bless you. A lawsuit. That's rich. The NFLPA is not going to court to fight that fight no matter how kewl you and the Southpark goth kids might think that would be.

How so? Your employer should be allowed to monitor when you are, what time you are at home, or in bed in a hotel? Should they be allowed to force you to sleep? LOL.

Ross Perot used to dictate what sort of shoes and tie you could wear, your hairstyle, the color of your shirt, who you could hang out with after work, etc.

He also paid more than average.

So you could take it...or leave it.

You have to be more specific. If Ross is preventing his employees with hanging out with known felons and prostitutes then many employers have moral turpitude restrictions in employee contracts.
