Thanks for this. Project needs Huskie fans help getting the word out. There are still many many people who do not know about it.

Klake, did you see Cheerdad? He was walking around tailgate area with his new dog passing out handouts with information on the Diesel Memorial.

He has a ton of them - I gave him a huge stack. He'll be doing the same at homecoming. If you get a few free minutes I'd appreciate it if you could hand a few out as well at homecoming 04-cheers

Is Mission having a tough time being a mascot. He seems a little overwhelmed by the crowds and noise.

HFA, sorry I've been gone so long, but it's been a really long and crazy year. But I'm finally back and finally got around to making my donation.

If you all think it would help, I would be happy to pass out some flyers at the SDSU game. It's possible some of my fellow long-distance alums haven't heard of the memorial yet.

Mmmm that is an idea I like! Mission Fan, send me a PM with your mailing address & I will mail some out to you this week.
They are 1/2 of a regular 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper. I had 4,000 of them made - I paid for them so we took nothing away from the Diesel Fund.

Great idea! Thanks for offering to help out. 04-cheers

Thanks for the donation to the Diesel Project! Go Huskies! :-)

Couldn't you just send an electronic file and he can print them out himself?

I've noticed the loud noises seem to startle him - like the fireworks - but I don't know anything for sure because I don't really know much about him. It's a lot for any dog to deal with I would think. I am glad we have a live Husky on the field again. It's a cool thing for NIU.

I wonder if Athletics would be willing to scan the flyer and post it on their website? Or can't they get involved with something like this?

I could but that's a lot of printing & out of pocket expense. We are talking about printing out what? 100 - 200? That's a lot of paper & ink. I already have lots of them & would mail from my business so again, no money comes out of the Diesel fund.
