CUSA off to a slightly better start this week. Middle Tennessee just knocked off Syracuse on the road. Marshall is hanging tough with NC State on the road as well.

And in case anyone misses David Beatty Central Michigan is up on KU 45-27 at Lawrence with 9:41 to go. CMU has over 450 yrds passing. KU looks like Rice small and slow.

UTSA beating Baylor in the 3rd. Queue the UTSA coach rumors to A&M if they win.

Rest of C-USA not so great.

Marshall looked good in 1Q but blown-out, WKU down at Illinois, La Tech getting abused at home to Miss St, Charlotte blown-out, and FAU ok for a quarter but blown out too.

On positive note, Army did not look good against Buffalo. Was lucky to win at home.

Stanford losing 28-17 at the half at USC. Lots of offense for both teams.

Oklahoma beating up on Ohio State 31-13 in Columbus. OU looks good, OSU does not.

Example #1 of CUSA futility (and we don't need any additional examples). This is an 87-yard loss by Louisiana Tech on one play. They had a 3rd-and-goal and ended up losing 87 yards on this one play. Yes, that's correct.

UTSA in victory formation, about to beat Baylor 17-10.

UTSA's 1st win over a P5 team.

UH defeats Arizona 19-16. I hope you guys got somebody to block Ed Oliver or your secondary can keep up with Kyle Allen's passes.

You guys better hope Tillman has a few dollars left from buying the Rockets so he can try and keep Major at UH beyond this season. I'm sure Tony Buzbee has his checkbook already open.

This troll watched a different game than I did. UH looked average at best. Arizona has to have the 2 worst passing QB's in D1. Outside of the front 7 which has a chance to be dominant, the team looked vulnerable to me. I expect the Owls to give us one hell of a battle on Saturday and look forward to the competition. I hope you guys made it out of the storm ok and can make it over the TDECU for some tailgating and good football next Saturday. Congrats on a nice win over UTEP as well.

You claim to cheer for both UH AND Rice plus I never see you post on the paid forum but I'm the troll? Oh please.

LOL ok brother. Sorry I don't spend $$$ on a message board. Wasn't aware that is how one judges fandom. Section 311 row B if you want to discuss how much of a "fan" I am or not.

To be honest I am not sure keeping Major around would be a blessing. The offense is downright anemic. We appear to have only 4 or so plays and only 1 in short yardage situations. We have no speed on offense. We only send the offense out to rest the defense when we have a lead. Sooner or later this will bite us in the rear. Arizona is awful.

Why, so they could go for it on 4th down and make it? That would be unconventional.
