Wish 5/3 had been renovated one year sooner. Oh well, make some history while in northern kentucky.

Most excited for Cincy hoops I've been in many, many years. Pre season prognostications reminds me of the Huggins years.

You got that right. On paper, it's the most promising team Mick has put on the floor. Let's hope it's highly successful in '17-'18. More importantly, I'm hopeful it's the platform (along with a shiny new 5th/3rd) needed to elevate the program's fortunes for the long run.

Hearing rumors of very significant season ticket sales already. This is impressive when you consider the games are being played at NKU.

The arena only holds a little over 9,000.

How cool would it be to sell out before the season? Regardless of the arena size, that's a real accomplishment. I have friends in Northern Kentucky who tell me they'll definitely be attending some games. They know UC is loaded this year and they appreciate great basketball--with all the conveniences of access this affords them.

Shoot. I was planning on doing a mini plan like I have the last couple years. Looking at the seating charts that may not be available this year. May have to buy season tickets and try to sell off 8-10 games.

Being out of town I think I'm going to hold out and try to buy my first pair of season tix next season. How difficult do you think it will be for a first timer to get 2 seats at the new 5/3rd after UC goes to the final four this year?

I'm hearing things like about 1,500 seats left . Single games tickets will be at a premium

Guessing there will be fewer student seats held back @ this arena given potential student transportation issues? If so, that might mean some mini-packages will be made available in the next 45 days.

Looks like the students are designated for sections 113-118. Only tickets available are in the $250-$375-$375-$450 options now . I guess some of the unused student tickets could be made available later ,

Another Top 10

https://www.fanragsports.com/rothstein-f...18-season/

1. Duke
The Skinny: The late addition of Marvin Bagley III puts the Blue Devils a notch above everybody else.

2. Michigan State
The Skinny: This writer will be shocked if the Spartans don’t run away with the Big Ten regular season title.

3. Arizona
The Skinny: The only thing standing in the way of a Final Four appearance is the cloud from last week’s FBI report.

4. Kansas
The Skinny: Mississippi State transfer Malik Newman could lead the Jayhawks in scoring.

5. Kentucky
The Skinny: There’s quality length and then there’s what this team has, which is utterly ridiculous.

6. Villanova
The Skinny: Redshirt freshman Omari Spellman could wind up as the best big man that Jay Wright has ever coached.

7. USC
The Skinny: Chemistry will be a work in progress.

8. Wichita State
The Skinny: Shockers will step up a weight class in the American Conference.

9. Cincinnati
The Skinny: Don’t blink, you’ll miss Sacred Heart transfer Cane Broome.

10. Louisville
The Skinny: Cards still have top-15 caliber talent and experience despite the loss of Rick Pitino and, potentially, Brian Bowen.
