Don't you have a game to lose to JMU or something?

We will beat JMU.

I have been a big supporter of GA State new stadium. I was just saying it is good the seat colors are blue it will make the stadium look better during game days. You and I both know GA State will not fill up the entire stadium this season, which is fine. However, it is good that the seats blend in; instead of having what USF has. A "red out", same goes for GA State when you played in the Georgia Dome.
We are 800 tickets sold from a sellout. The upper deck is closed.

Correct, but the seats will still be there even if it is closed
We had 4 month and $50Ms to get ready for 8/31. Upper deck will be Phase II.

I was there two Thursdays ago. Its spectacular by any standard and it is no longer a baseball stadium.

I'm not criticizing at all. All I am saying is that it is a good thing the seats are blue. I understand what you are saying. I think it would be cool next year to have the the far away upper deck seats to have the screen come down from the over hand to the ledge win the GA State logo. Similar to Miami and their stadium.

Well at least they have won not one, but TWO NCAA Div. I football national championships. Something that will never happen at Georgia State, let along the mythical BSCFP.

I sure Georgia State is just devastated they'll never play in the FCS playoff extravaganza.

My basketball team won the NIT two years ago. It was fun. It was also largely ignored.

To be fair, minus whatever impact the rain makes today, I think GaState will have a pretty good home opener crowd, though it may not look that great on tv with a big open upper deck (which probably needs to be tarped). That crowd along with anytime GaSouthern comes into town are generally their two largest crowds with a good drop off the rest of the season.

What's truly NIT is every G5 school. Because the P5 have totally stacked the deck against an inclusion of a G5 in their "playoff".

It's stacked, but it's possible. Houston for example showed that if you have a near perfect season and then follow it up with a perfect season (they of course didn't) then you have a chance of getting in as a G5.

At this rate, Georgia State won't get to play in that coveted Nobody Cares Weed Eater Bowl as well! Great job GSU in trying to make a great impression at your new crib! 05-nono

Actually, Georgia State has played in a FBS bowl. I'll bet more people watched that on TV than any FCS game Sac State has played in.
