Anything under 6-6 and he's gone.

6-6 with a bowl win and he stays but everyone is still pissed.

7-5 to 8-4 and he stays but everyone says Bryan Cook is the only reason we won.

9-3 or better and he and his whole staff get their contracts extended
Nah, he'll be here through his contract - Next two seasons.

RE: Hey GSU Summer's half over!
All I know about Summers is that when I was in Oxford for the Old Mrs game was that there were some very unhappy GaSo people there. And the people I saw were people with money and obvious supporters of the program. I can't see them living through another year like last year and not demanding a change.

I'd say CTS's greatest challenge is handling the pressure. His demeanor during the off season is noticeably different. Not sure if it's confidence that comes with new staff or benefiting from the lack of pressure. Hopefully he's maturing as a HC.

Central HVAC is not common in homes up here, and the one we're buying doesn't have it at the moment, hence the acclimation process.

You mean you don't have AC and your house is 72 degrees naturally???!!

I keep my AC at 75 degrees because anything lower than that and my electric bill would be yuge.

I've been at 76 all summer, electric bill still yuge 03-banghead

My 70 year old house doesn't get higher than 77. I turn the AC off during the day. Trees are my friends.

Yep.. We would have to buy out Cook and Summers if not.

I think the only thing that gets him fired is a complete disaster with absolutely no improvement through the year especially on D since that is his area.

I think if we get to 7 wins Summers & Cook will be safe. If we don't get to 7 Cook may be safe as an interim.

I hate to see anyone get fired but might be the best long term if cook can land a competent DC....I think CTS was five years and or a successful FCS gig to soon for an FBS HC job.

In this case, his best defense is the offense. Southern's defense wasn't bad last season, it takes a toll when the opposing offense gets more opportunities than necessary because of the offenses ineptitude.

My grandmother lives in Atlanta, is 88 years old and has never had AC. I bought her a window unit this spring and she won't turn it on. So, suck it up, butter cup. 03-wink

The defense wasn't exactly good, but yes the underperforming offense did take a toll.

There are some scheme/philosophy things that some of us aren't comfortable with and would like to see changed, no idea if that's happening yet.

Actually it was bad as well but the offense going three and out like clock work definatley did not help the boys on D much.

Just popping in to say it's almost October and it's currently 95 degrees on Georgia Southern's campus

Source of the heat is believed to be Tyson Summer's seat.
