RE: The circular argument thread.
July has come and gone down, and now it is time for the third warning from Team PS. The time of the Prolate Spheroid is nigh. Our goal is in sight. Members of Team Rhombus and Team Spheroid be warned. There is no hope for those who have no depth or others who just bounce around without true meaning. Join Team PS now as we march through the red zone to victory, or be forever doomed to warm yellow showers of defeat. You have only one more month to find redemption. Otherwise -- PS on you.

Ah yes, the traditional doom and gloom of Prolate Spheroid. Your pugnacious prognostication will be rendered powerless when touchdowns are scored in the name of the Rhombus this fall. The signs are there: opposite equal acute angles, opposite equal obtuse angles, and four equal sides.

Sometimes I feel like the Triangle is the 3rd party in a rigged two party system. No matter - we will prevail! Or we will steal just enough votes to make it mildly inconvenient for one of the others.

Triangle has three points, and thus logically is the patron shape of field goals. Rhombus is patron shape of touchdowns, since heptagon is a dead shape with no followers here. Prolate Spheroid, having no points, is the patron shape of failed red zone attempts.

Without Team PS, there is no red zone, no field goals and certainly no need for triangles to watch over them.

The circular argument thread.
If anyone doesn't mind explaining what this thread means to the old guys, that would be great.

It started off as a thread to allow people to vent about the same stuff over and over that keeps popping up in every other thread, but with its title, it quickly became quite literal and we started memeing about shapes (circular argument). From there it kind of ... evolved into what it is today.

While you are here, take a pamphlet about the Triangle and see how it will truly enlighten your inner eye.

From your posting name, you are a natural for Team Spheroid.

Do not be deceived by the false promises of other unnatural shapes.
