RE: Home games vs P5 by conference
Not enough separation from the MWC to say that it solidifies P6 status based on P5 home games. But it's getting there. The AA has 10 schools with 4 or more future P5 home games. MWC has 5 schools and CUSA has 2 schools.
AAC
ECU = 8
Temple = 6
Tulane = 6
UConn = 6

True but MWC has a built in handicap such that they are the only schools for PAC teams to play without traveling across the country. ACC and SEC teams can simply play eachother. Same with big 12 and big 10.

I don't see it as a handicap, I see it as a positive for them. The PAC and MWC are the only 2 Western conferences out of the 10 conferences. Those 2 will always play each other simply because of logistics...Throw BYU in the mix for H&H's whenever they want them or New Mexico St. After Idaho drops down only twenty six out of one hundred thirty FBS schools will be left in the West....

Ok, why are Air Force and New Mexico NOT scheduling H&H's with P5 schools any more? Anyone? Both have a long history of doing so, and both have 40k plus stadiums. Looking since 2000, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, Missouri, Arizona, Arizona St, Baylor, Oregon St, Washington St, Texas Tech (multiple times) have played regular season road games at AF & UNM. I'm bringing that up in case someone says they cannot get home games. They can if they want. Their future schedules are very bad. Air Force doing a H&H with Florida International?...and New Mexico doing a H&H with Liberty? makes no sense...

Oh got ya...yeah, i think their proximity to the PAC has been helpful. Those 2 conferences are all alone in the big bad west....I had said early on when there was talk about App St, Coastal, Liberty, Charlotte, Old Dominion etc, moving to FBS that that could possibly cause ECU to get less ACC school home games...ECU was kind of in a MWC situation. The only local school for them to schedule.

Bumped for the H&H announcement for Temple vs Miami.
Technically home games as neither Temple or Miami have true home games because they play in NFL stadiums (Eagles and Dolphins respectively)

It hasn't officially been confirmed by either school but sounds like it is happening (especially since aresco announced it).
On a side note, your comment about it not being a true home game is just strange.

Yes it is strange that Miami and Temple don't have their own stadiums and have to play in an area NFL stadium. Only 4 schools out of 131 FBS schools don't have their own football stadiums. Very strange. And yes, Aresco announced it.

It's not like they have to leave the city to get to the linc. I agree with him, it's strange. It's a Temple home game 0 questions about it. You have no problem calling the liberty bowl a home game, or tulanes home games, neither are on campus . . .
Temple shares the stadium with the eagles, it's their home on saturdays.

1. Tulane has an OCS now.
2. Memphis doesn't pay rent to an NFL team to play in someone else's stadium. Terrible comparison IMO.
3. You say Temple "shares a stadium with the Eagles" No. Temple pays rent to play in the Linc. You must be thinking of Pitt who shares a stadium with the Steelers.
4. I count Temples games in the Linc as home games.

We now have had or have H + H with every P12 team except Colorado (just cannot fit it in) and USC (who refuses to play us).
I will add it to the total...SDSU may be in the lead right now with scheduled home games with P5 teams...I'll tally it up

So the top 3:
1. San Diego St: 9 future home games with P5 scheduled.
2. ECU: 8 future home games with P5 scheduled.
3. Colorado St: 7 future home games with P5 scheduled.
