RE: C-USA vs. the NCAA. 2017 Edition
Sadly, I don't personally see more than 20 -36 in this OOC schedule. Best bet for a 4 -0 (and I personally see 3-1, with a loss at Ilinois) is Western Kentucky. Hope I'm wrong on both counts. I also see a 3-1 possible for Southern Miss, if they can take down KY at home. Coming up blanks in my prediction are Rice and UTEP.

Hope I'm Wrong on all counts.

Illinois returns like 7 starters. ESPN gives WKU a 48% chance to win, which is better than most of us are getting. I daresay this is a game WKU should win.

This is a rebuilding year for UNC. We might just take it at home. VT I'm not sure.

RE: C-USA vs. the NCAA. 2017 Edition
Houston and Baylor is gonna be UTSAs challenges. I'm not calling it a win but I will say that there is a good chance the Runners can pull it off. UTSA was the underdog last time they played Houston and UTSA came out winning by 20 @ Houston. That, and that was a lousy year for the Runners with only 4 wins. Houston started strong last year but fell off at the end. New coaching may be a factor for them this season. UTSA has grown since and has picked up some good recruits and has many starters returning. The Runners playing at home may give them the edge but we will see.
Baylor on the hand is battling the drama off the field and working the new coaching. Who knows how this will affect their play. That and they finished the last 6 conference games with loses. It will be interesting how their squad plays out this year. If Runners lose, no big deal, they are the underdog anyways but I think they have the potential to 4-0.

The team predicted by many to win the conference, WKU, should have at least a 3-1 record ooc. I expect the Toppers to beat Ill and that the road game @ Vandy will be the toughest contest. They could be pretty decent this year with lots of returning starters.

And if UTEP doesn't get their 9th win in a row over NMSU, I may have to do something drastic, such as giving up following college football.

I believe WKU has best chance to go unbeaten. Tech, UTSA, and MTSU could get 3 W's and depending on QB USM and ODU also. I should probably include Tech in that category as well. Also UAB has 3 winnable games. If conference mates do well vs Army and MAC/Belt Schools we will win more than 20 IMO

I expect we are going to throw everything we can at them. The last UNC game was our worst loss in our short history and we still take crap for it.

I see 2-2 for us, 3-1 if we get really lucky with UNC. VT is going to beat us soundly either way IMO

Reasonably speaking, I can imagine FAU going 3-1 (beating Navy and getting throttled by Wisconsin). But, most likely OOC record for the Owls is 2-2.

We handled Navy the last two times we played them. And they had pretty good years those years.

But the first time you face those guys they can make you look very silly. Not sure how disciplined the FAU dee is but if they slip up at all you're looking at long touchdown runs. The first year we beat them we worked on defending that offense during the spring before and also during fall practice. You can't just treat them as oh, let's pop in the tape and work on it this week.

Since it is your first game I'd expect lots of game planning. But you still have to execute.

I'm sure I'll catch flack for this, but I could see Charlotte beating EMU, A&T and GSU (with a loss to Kansas State). We could just as easily go 1-3, though, so I'll settle at 2-2.

3-1, 2-2, and 1-3 are all possibilities but I'm just not sure we beat EMU unless our offense is on fire. Seems like 2-2 is a reasonable expectation.

I know you guys have a good QB in Klugh but so does EMU. That roeback kid was good and they aren't bad on defense either. Your defense from what i have seen last year wasn't good and unless you have made significant strides on defense i will put your chances at 30/70 at best. I wish nothing but good luck to conference mates as they fight OOC and charlotte is no different.

I don't know. I think he gives good reasoning behind his prediction. They've beaten Houston. Hell they christened Houston's new stadium by disemboweling them on their field. It's a winnable game, especially if the Runners are as good as people seem to think. And Baylor could still be reeling from some of it's issues. UTSA seems to give P5 teams fits most of the time. All they need to do is keep it close and get lucky. But 3-1 with a good showing would still be amazing for the conference.
