RE: Trump praises Duterte's drug war
Time to simply purge every and any Obama appointee. This has passed the point of politics. It's become dangerous. World leaders can't trust that what they say when engaged in frank discussions won't stay behind closed doors, the world becomes a lesss safe place and we become poor nation to partner with.
So,I'd--
1). Can all Obama appointees
2) if I can't do the above without damaging the function of government too badly---then I'd tap the phones of all NYT and Washington Post reporters as well as many state department employees to find the leakers and toss them in jail. The time has come to treat this as the sedition and national security violation that it is---It ain't just politics.

He's murdered thousands. No trials, no due process, just kill people.
Death squads run by the state. Trump thinks that's a great idea.

CAN'T DUPE THE DUTERTE
I'm sure if you took a poll in Germany after they overran Poland, that their leader would have been really popular too.

And Duterte hates the US. So much so that he's working against his own countries interest in order to try to harm the USA.
And Trump is encouraging him.

For years China has had a nearly 0% recidivism rate for drug dealers trafficking meth or heroin.

Was he democratically elected? You want to bomb the Philippines? How about we stay out of their business and culture.

Most every Liberalturd believes that the US should stay out of other countries problems yet they want us to involve ourselves in Philippines drug one. I guess they're pissed because they can't indulge their habits in the Philippines anymore.

Fly.. I'd take any "foreign leader" poll approval rating with a serious grain of salt.
Maduro was in the high 70's minimum in Venezuela.
The President of Iran has constantly been in the high 70/80's approval ratings.
But when you see those international 'man on the streets', you know the polls are bolloxy..

IDK or care what his poll ratings are. They have 4 branches of government like the USA, and they have a bunch of political parties, and they have a constitution. The guy ran on executing druggies, and has made loco statements his entire life and they elected him. Our system of due process is pretty rare globally. It is their "problem" they can fix it if they want to.

That country used to be our territory. We should have never given up on that country. Then, we would not have all those dictators.
Teddy Roosevelt should have claimed Cuba as a territory. That way, Castro would not have been put in charge. Imagine Cuba be a US state by now?

RE: Trump praises Duterte's drug war
The reason the PI (Philippine Islands) isn't a state, is because we did not want to fight a war of independence against them, which had already started before we left.
Most of the Filipinos love Duterte!!
The ones who don't, are from Luzon and went to the Philippine colleges there. Their academic class is full of socialists, and almost as loony as ours. Especially UofP.
I have been to the the PI 80+ times, my wife is a Filipina, (went to school with the vice president) and I have worked with hundreds of Filipinos. They were sick of the corruption, the drugs, the gangs and the filth that had made their lives bad. They wanted a change, they voted for a change, they are getting the change that many of them desired.
